By continuing to build freeways, Caltrans is perpetuating a reliance on cars and ensuring that the State of California cannot hit its climate goals.
I should be more clear. What I’m looking for is a mailing list or RSS feed that sends out announcements about new Caltrans environmental documents. Sure, they’re available on CEQAnet, but you need to check it every week to catch everything.

I’m using CEQAnet’s list of recent postings. The State Clearinghouse might be easier to search for past projects, but I’m more interested in their ongoing and future projects. ceqanet.opr.ca.gov/Search/Recent

Undoubtedly, Caltrans knew this was a farce, because they released the MND for the project on Dec. 17th and certified it on Dec. 28th, right when most people were celebrating the holidays. This is an easy way to comply with the law, while avoiding the public scrutiny the law attempts to protect.
