Allen brings 29 yrs of experience as Lab Manager in the Rees Lab. His deep knowledge of Caltech’s systems and his collaborative approach will be invaluable during this transition. He will be working alongside Joe Drew through Jan. 2026.

Last Friday, the Chemical Engineering Graduate Student Council hosted its 2nd Annual ChE Carnival. Students gathered in Tournament Park to play games, tie-dye shirts and even grilled up tasty hot dogs and burgers. We can't wait for the next one!

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Doug Rees as the new Executive Officer for Biochemistry and Karthish Manthiram as the new Executive Officer for Chemical Engineering.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to Shu-ou Shan and Zhen-Gang Wang for their outstanding service in this role.
