🇬🇪 BIRDS affected by the fuel oil spill following the sinking of Russian tankers in the Black Sea have begun to appear on the Black Sea coast of Georgia.
This morning alone (07.01) about a dozen dead birds with traces of fuel oil were found, as well as more than 10 live birds with traces of fuel oil.

🇬🇪 Georgia - At the monument to Akaki Tsereteli and Ilia Chavchavadze in Tiblisi, the student movement of Ilia University collects letters for political prisoners.

Also, they left writing supplies so anyone could write a letter.

The cub was suffering from digestive problems, growth retardation, and signs of rickets. A few hours after arrival at the vets colic began, the pain increased, breathing was irregular, and hypotension was observed. Good news these seem to have stabilised, for now.

There is still no information if the authorities, the prosecutor's office, the police or other agencies have opened an investigation or commented.

Considering that the zoo director had previously reported that if the lion cub had not ended up with them, as professionals, he would not have survived.
