But I have reached the age to realize we only get so many elections to vote in before we die.
"Wait four years," is getting bleak. I'm sure it is more so on your end.

Apologies. I have no idea how far my message in a bottle actually travels. I mean, look at my account. It's dedicated to anime, video games, and waifus.
I was in the womb when Reagan was around. And a lot of Trump voters probably don't remember W. Bush.

Pointing it out, expecting the capitalists to feel ashamed, take pay cuts, and raise wages? That isn't happening.
Let's not just state a problem and say "that's it," we need the solution that isn't being said.
Then the red herring is gone. The democrats can be pressured with a real policy.
February 19, 2025 at 1:15 AM
Increase that to 100%, give it to everyone, and bang. The universal healthcare problem is done.
THAT'S a solution.

"Income disparity"...
What's the solution?
Massive progressive taxation and wealth redistribution?
Then let's stand up and SAY that.
February 19, 2025 at 1:07 AM
Sen. Sanders found a solution for America's lack of universal healthcare: Medicare for All.
Ask any senior if they like their Medicare. They'll say yes. The only problem is it's partially privatized, and only pays 80%, meaning you have to get a secondary to pay for uncovered parts.
February 19, 2025 at 1:04 AM
"Income disparity" is a red herring. How much "income disparity" is good "income disparity"? The average worker makes $10,000 while the capitalist makes a mere $100 million? There's no objective measurement there. Forget it. We don't need to frame a problem as "income disparity," we need a solution.
February 19, 2025 at 12:59 AM
Good luck.
February 17, 2025 at 3:40 AM
It's that simple. "Vote blue no matter who," gets mocked and bandied about as arrogant, but... it really is like that. Let's act accordingly. Much easier to organize than "marching".
February 17, 2025 at 3:39 AM
The way our democracy works, if one more name has a "D" labeled next to it instead of an "R" we win.
February 17, 2025 at 3:36 AM
Even if they are the most "moderate," Manchin-like, "might as well be a republican", do it anyway.
February 17, 2025 at 3:34 AM
Anyway... I wanted to stick to Ffndom things on here.
But reading some comments here just got to me.
If you want change, VOTE IN 2026 FOR A DEMOCRAT.
February 17, 2025 at 3:33 AM
Now we have to worry about the state of our country, our safety, and those of other nations.
I especially weep for Ukraine and the genocide they have suffered. With Trump acting like they got into a war of choice.
February 17, 2025 at 3:30 AM
And it can be summed up in two words: "That's democracy."
February 17, 2025 at 3:21 AM
Now Trump is running wild over the government and "we should march?"
It should have never gotten to this point.
I know there's a lot who did vote for Harris reading this, but the knee-jerk reactions of "we'll just march" need a reality check.
If anything, we failed them.
February 17, 2025 at 3:19 AM
We needed a definite victory for Kamala Harris in 2024, just like America needed to vote for Hubert Humphrey back in 1968. History repeats.
February 17, 2025 at 3:13 AM
If you deceived yourself into thinking Trump wouldn't want to turn Gaza into a parking lot, or worse, that the democrats were just "the lesser of two evils," or "let's send the democrats a message," then I don't know what to say. "Message heard: we are clasped between hammer and anvil."
February 17, 2025 at 3:09 AM
For voters who made the Gaza war their issue, half of the voters turned away from voting democrat because of Biden's support of Israel. Another half turned away because they didn't think Biden did *enough*. There is no reality Biden stopped sending weapons and started dismantling Israel as a state.
February 17, 2025 at 2:56 AM
And to people complaining about "spineless democrats," what do you expect a minority party to do? Why should the democrats assume we, the voters, will have their backs and show up to vote for them? We've already shown we're impossible to please.
February 17, 2025 at 2:48 AM
I'm already terrified every day more news piles in. My heart can't take marching.
"Why not pay less for peace, when the price is low?"
