Me logging on today to see it's my work anniversary...

Cambridge to Swanage is a long, multi-step journey by public transport, but the last leg involves an open top double-decker bus hopping on a ferry which does add a bit of flair ⛴️

An amazing few days in Nova Scotia comes to an end. Thanks to my wonderful friends-cum-tour guides, all the locals who enjoyed speaking to me (mostly for the accent) and the weather gods for the lovely weather

Canada has not disappointed in sights, friendliness and poutine thus far (although slightly less continuous rainfall wouldn't have gone amiss... )

Another season of @rsc.org Cricket Club has got going! Highlights of our first game included a beautiful sunset (after a grey and windy start), our last wicket pair surviving the final over and meeting a three legged golden retriever in the pub afterwards

While going through my Grandad's things, we came across a 1948 QMUL Student Union magazine, containing an advert for a certain learned society's predecessor that his grandson is now employed by 👀

The rugged and steep slopes of Glas Bheinn provided today's challenge and first mountain of the year! Spectacular views of the other Assynt hills and a relentless icy blast to the face

A successful Sunday for Woof-pack runners/supporters at the London Landmarks Half Marathon on Sunday raising money for @medicalaidpal.bsky.social ! Followed by a celebratory roast with Nelson the cat at Tapping the Admiral 🐈‍⬛️

Last week we had our annual Sustainable Energy & Fuels Editorial Board meeting at Burlington House! It was great to meet with our Associate Editors and Editorial Board Members (in person for the first time in 5 years!) and talk about the journal's achievements and future.
