Never thought mac OS would feel like a chore to use, but man Omarchy has changed the game. Really starting to wonder if I just go all in with it on my intel macbook

Grok code Fast 1 is.. good, and fast, and cheap. I'd really prefer to not use Elon stuff - what else is good?

I have been messing around with openAPI, and using hey API to generate a typescript client (with react query options). This is insanely cool. Why do we do anything else!

I think Ecto is the most impressive example of metaprogramming with elixir. Blows my mind

Are there any open models that don't suffer the "I refuse to say anything negative about anything" problem that makes AI useless at evaluating options?

Gemini CLI is utter trash. lightyears behind the competition and completely unusable

Surely whoever wins this LLM arms race is just going to price the product into oblivion within the first year of monopoly. Claude's updates show that its completely unsustainable. Chuck in the fact that all agent improvements seem to rely on gratuitous token usage.. I really dont see a happy future

ngl gemini -> deep research -> create website did just blow my mind.

No idea how accurate any of this is.. but man - what a way to quickly get exactly the information I want in a very digestable format

I wonder if the confident fallibility of LLMs is going to negatively affect public opinion on other hyper-focused machine learning advancements in the near future (cancer detection, robotic surgery, etc).

half a step forward, three steps back in the long run?

So is anyone here using the @zen-browser.app as their daily driver? I've been letting it cook for a while and going to give it a shot.

First 10 mins and its + for UI but - for 'scrolling snappiness' compared to basic firefox.

I’m finding @nuxt.com a very pleasant experience so far, but struggling massively with having to constantly restart the dev server because HMR seems to break. Usually when server routes are changed. Is there anything I can do to help?

Thank goodness AIs now search the internet and provide sources to increase confidence in the accuracy of the answers.

@nuxt.com is amazing. An ACTUALLY batteries included framework. Probably the most 'just build your app' experience I've had compared to Next, Remix etc, as it has actual batteries.

#css people: what is the general advice for nesting selectors? I'm coming from using tailwind loads recently, where we style in place, but man I feel like I am suddenly remembering the magic of deep deep selectors 🤯

What could go wrong?!

Something I need to improve:

I’m always inspired by people sharing their work on here, but never feel impressed enough with my own output to share.

Why would anyone NOT learn CSS? Its how you do everything!

Trying out Claude Code and its taking about 15 minutes and a $1 already, to update some old Sass @imports to @use.

Why are we excited about this?
