Like London buses, my second paper published in the space of a week! Working on the (substantial) impacts of HPAI on seabirds, it was fascinating to find that population changes in some of the hardest-hit species are reflected in @trektellen.bsky.social seawatch counts. dx.doi.org/10.1080/0006...

We didn’t really get a sense either way - our questions weren’t designed with cultural heritage value in mind unfortunately. There was receptivity to valuing sites on their individual merits which I think could encompass a range of values.

It's nice over here, isn't it. Was a bit too quiet when I first made the switch back in Spring, but seems to have built up the critical mass now!
