And then, as it always seems to, it ties back to Gaster. Gaster of course directly talks to us at the end of Chapter 4. His DELTARUNE is one word. In fact, Gaster is one of only two characters to drop the game’s title, with the other being the forgotten man behind the tree.

There is a consistency in using two words to refer to the symbol, and seeing as Ralsei is relaying the LEGEND, he may believe it to focus on the symbol. I bring this up because, in Chapter 4, we see the Prophecy… where it’s referred to as a singular word.
