Can't stop thinking about Southland Tales. Made me want to check out more from Richard Kelly, only to see I've completed his filmography already. Didn't love Donnie Darko 6(?) years ago, but The Box burned itself into my brain when I caught it on TV at maybe 10 years old. I should watch that again.

Struggling to understand why Eggers even wanted to make Nosferatu. The confidence of making a film knowing it will inevitably be compared to Dreyer, Murnau, Herzog & Coppola is pretty audacious to begin with if you're making your fourth feature, but doing it with without any vision? Irresponsible.
