🖊️ I wrote about why #Dems need to rethink their approach to social media.

👉🏿 Read it here: https://callmewilsar.posthaven.com/ #dncchair #socialmediapolitics

Former Congressional digital staffer for #Democrats.
If I was the Democratic Party, I’ll make sure a specific arm of the organization amplify these names and faces across social media.

They should be shamed and the people should know that these people don’t care about them.

I would do it quick and consistently it else it’ll be too late.

While I watch this, all I want to know is what each DNC candidate plan is reach voters online & talk about the Party’s accomplishment.

How can Democrats use social media to rebuild trust & win elections?

It’s not something we can ignore if we want to win & stay winning.

Not a question but every single democratic house member should be on podcasts & creating videos talking about the #shutdown.

Every single one.
Get the message out to the masses (not just on Twitter)

Go to local & cable news
Go on podcasts
Record long form video explainers
Make short form videos

Absolutely agree! This doesn’t negate in person on the grounds organizing. It’s compliments it.

We want to reach voters from every angle—a comprehensive and thoughtful approach (including ensuring our message is simple)

Biden did a lot of good stuff but most people don’t know.
That is not ok.

Thanks for reading and good flag. I have another blog on that next ☺️

Your right but it’s not too late. if we don’t try to build it in the next 2-4 years, we’ll be further left behind.

I wrote about this, laying out a cohesive digital strategy for Dems. Let need know what you think ☺️ callmewilsar.posthaven.com/digital-stra...

These are just a few ideas.

I recently wrote about this in my latest blog, laying out a cohesive digital strategy for Democrats to compete in today’s decentralized media landscape.

Would love your thoughts: callmewilsar.posthaven.com/digital-stra...

2️⃣ Creator-Style Long-Form Content: YouTube is a game-changer.

Imagine leaders using it to break down policies conversationally and answer real voter questions.

It builds connection and trust—what we desperately need. [3/3]

1️⃣ A Big Tent Influencer Ecosystem: as you know, the GOP have built robust influencer networks that shape cultural narratives.

We need to invest in a diverse range of creators—progressive activists, lifestyle influencers, gamers—who connect authentically with voters. [2/3]

You’re absolutely right, Ben. Democrats can’t afford to let them define us.

We need to show up everywhere—not just during campaigns, but year-round, and across platforms where voters already are.

Here’s what I think the next DNC Chair should prioritize 👇🏿 [1/3]

This will change everything for the #dems because seniority has always taken precedent for them. www.politico.com/news/2024/12...

That makes total sense!

I wished the copy read: “What has he done for you lately?”

Most people care more about what he can do for them — and not what he can do for the country.

Ahh ok that makes sense. Thanks for clarifying it for me, Pete. Still hoping for some soft of UBI for at least low to middle income families.

This is UBI, right — which I’m a fan of. It sounds like a rebranded UBI to me.
