I actually kinda like this cover a lot. I'm guessing that it's meant to be Duiker, and the butterflys are a nod to the river scene where... things happen. A lot of hidden pain in such a soft piece.

Hyperion was gifted to me last year. I have put off reading it but will cross paths with the one who gave it to me this Thanksgiving. Figured I could speed read it before then. First thoughts: this isn't fantasy...
