Why are t we getting rid of the electoral college and just using the vote tallies? That would eliminate all of the gerrymandering to skew the results. That’s how it’s done for local elections. Why do we have this antiquated system for the most important election in the country???

I read that in a magazine. I can’t remember which magazine as it was back in 1976 or 1977. It was actually the first thing I read by King, but it was a short story.
