Sure but why jump past the question of why was the weapon drawn in the first place? It seems to me that was the first step in the escalation. Car brain probably factors into that.

This is how I’ve imagined a civil war starts….when the various military and pseudo military groups internally divide across an issue and two allegiances are established.

This is such obvious and feasible technology that even the scooter companies are way ahead of the autos and regulations (fed vs local effectiveness!). I await the cries of “unamericanism” based on restricting some constitutional right to live out the fantasy auto use shown in the commercials.

My limited use of the carpool lots has been for coordination with others headed up north for a weekend longer than 48 hours. I suspect this is common. Are these lots overcrowded? Is carpooling a victim of its own success in Michigan? Likely not….

This is why I oppose those shiny freeway caps being rammed through….we can’t afford what we have and it’s entirely unsustainable.

Same mostly….breaking the car ownership and commuting cycle has been the best financial move I’ve ever made. I won’t even mention the health and happiness.

It is interesting that they added those water filled barriers in recognition that pedestrians using the Warren bridge are vulnerable but at the same time tell us that bridges like Forest and Grand River are good alternates for closed ped bridges at Canfiled and Pine.
