Today in poor ADHD decision making: I’m auditioning for a choir solo tonight. I started learning the solo this morning. It wasn’t supposed to be a sight-singing exam!

I am so unbelievably humbled by how many folks showed up to my two panels at Katsucon tonight. I never thought it would be me up there, but I had two packed houses eager to hear me talk about my special interests.

Some shodo calligraphy to start the year off right. Didn’t realize I chose the same yojijukugo for my kakizome two years in a row, but at least my brush work has improved!

It’s a miracle I can read any kanji at all, given shenanigans like this…
