Just finished reading a trilogy of delightfully messed up horror graphic novels by Doug Wagner & Daniel Hillyard: Vinyl, Plastic, and Plush (that's 3 separate titles.)

Big, spattery gore, with gorgeous clean artwork, and compelling and twisted stories of Bad vs Worse #Horror

I did not fucking know this.

Just watched Heart Eyes, and was pleasantly surprised. It's a really fun slasher that doesn't skimp on the creativity. 8/10 #Horror

Finished reading "Incidents Around the House" by Josh Malerman. Great read, especially if you're into ghost stories, but I was left feeling like I'd been punched. #Horror #Books

Saw Companion last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'd say it was a bit like Strange Darling or Blink Twice. You can see where it's going early on, but it's executed so well that you just enjoy the ride. Turns out if Sophie Thatcher is in a horror thing, it's going to be pretty great. #horror

It's been about 10 years since I read House of Leaves, and I still think about it. It's the only book I've read in my adult years that I actually had to put down and come back to months later. It just grabbed my psyche and wouldn't let go. #Horror

Now watching: Grafted on Shudder. The movies I want to compare this to would spoil it, so I'll just say it's well put together and delightfully grotesque flick. It would be a great first film in a double bill with The Substance. #Horror
