Had an outpatient op done yesterday. The fatigue really caught up to me this afternoon, but I was able to enjoy the company of a good friend this morning. More story research was done w/ banter and insight, and as such, I put pen back to paper tonight after a hiatus from prose-producing pursuits. 🥳

Creative dry spells don't have to last forever. 836 words down today after not touching the notebook for over a week. 💀✍️💦

Finally back in a productive mental headspace to be writing after weeks/months of health and homeowner crises. Consistency and accountability are not my strongest skills. Societal stress and work-from-home default parenting don't help. Hoping I can hold onto the muse over the next few weeks! 🤞
