Bigger question is, who at AH came up with the map design for this and Gettysburg 1961? While people of the time didn’t like it, I love that style. Tom Shaw didn’t know when asked.

Played in a Western skirmish game where the referee included a railroad station, tracks and a train. The trains arrival and departure time were part of the scenario.

Visual design of this game is so on point.

Are the back of the cards printed with a metallic silver ink with regular ink over that and a matte varnish? They have a certain look that I’ve only seen from doing that. The duo-tone look is so evocative and spot on.

Really enjoyed game play as well.
