The good thing about not being able to run Win11 is that Tinyflaccid can't force it on me. I hope.

I long for the day when SteamOS actually becomes a viable desktop OS alternative and I can install it with just a click or two so that way I can leave Windows behind for good and never look back.

A man can dream, can't he?

And besides, "end of support" just means it's not receiving free security updates, not that it's gonna completely stop working after October.

And no I'm not gonna switch to Linux, either, at least not the base version. I just cannot figure that shit out for the life of me.

I was barely a year and a half old when it happened, plus it was still after midnight on the west coast so I was still asleep in my crib. I didn't find out until years later when I asked my parents why a pair of towers that were in older movies set in NYC weren't in any new ones any more.

Just say either "No, the game will not have skins or cosmetics." or "Yes, there will, but we'll try to keep them in line with the aesthetic, themes, and tone of the game."

HOW HARD IS THAT?

iirc, my first website was Lego. I loved looking at all the different themes and sets they had at the time and the games they had were fun too. I was addicted to the little plastic bricks as a kid, much to the chagrin of my parents' feet 😆

The UK government is a joke. And you know what's worse? The UK has a history of arresting people for online posts, both left-leaning and right-leaning, both pro-Palestine and pro-Israel, both pro-immigration and anti-immigration.

Demanding people share their IDs will 100% make this worse.

Back on the main topic, what UK is doing right now is peak nanny state. They refuse to tackle any of the country's actual issues but will gladly micromanage people and how they smoke and watch TV within their own private property.
