Okada/Tanahashi was great. I haven't been a regular New Japan watcher since about 2016 or so but I have incredibly fond memories of 2011-2016 and the rise of Okada and his feud with Tanahashi was basically THE hook for a lot of that time.

Having it one last time was perfect.

I get that these House Of Torture dorks are the worst and everyone hates it, but it works PERFECTLY for this match.

Up to this match so far the only match that has been anything other than shite was the womens match so nice to see something actually good here.

On the plus side, I FINALLY got my job offer I've been waiting months for and I don't start until March so I have a bit of time to continue to try get somewhat caught up with this damn company that seems to have 800 hours of TV every week.

Really outside of Danielson, the end of 2023 AEW is pretty rough overall. Christian is tremendous but I now have to deal with COPE so...

Especially considering this follows a really fun cage match between Jeff Hardy & Johnny Nitro. Sadly that might have been the peak until the main event...

I also saw all 5 of these bands in 2025 so yknow that tracks.

Genuinely might have been the first Shane Taylor match I've ever watched or at least fully paid attention too and this guy rules.

Ticketmaster did decide to error on the purchase screen which was a bit nervy but it went through so we move.

Had very strong FOMO about this gig and it's been nearly a month since my last one, with the next not scheduled until Epic Fest in April so needed to happen.
