I should say I’m broader BBC rather than Panorama specifically but knowing our editorial standards and all the efforts being put into the likes of BBC Verify, this felt way off.

Yup, I’ve had argumentative replies on Threads today, too. It’s exhausting - like people feel compelled to argue against what might just be a simple point that needed making.

I’ve seen a rumour that they might bring it back on VW’s new small EV platform but the latest seems to be that they’re developing something specific. Strange given they made such a big deal of discontinuing the Fiesta and going all ‘American’.
