Had to say goodbye this morning and it feels like the universe shattered. For how sudden, it was like she was yanked away from us. I know she’s not suffering anymore but I miss her already and the house feels more empty and it’s like the world lost color. Will always love and miss you forever, Daisy

Over the summer I did something of a reset. I went back to the small town I grew up in and looked at a horizon I hadn’t seen for over two decades. It helped me rediscover who I am. My best friend and I caught the sunset with some burgers and it was the happiest I’d felt in years.
