Yeah honestly I do agree with you to some degree, I'm not entirely against payed cosmetics but I do think they should take more of a background role

Sorry, the point I was trying to make was that the skins didn't take up huge man hours comparatively to the actual game. As to say that they weren't spending a huge amount of time and resources into pay walled content before release.

I've only played 5 and like half of 4 but honestly those games are so schizo that the shitty singing has been plastered into my brain 😭

There is said to be 4 characters released a year, and I really doubt much work had gone into skins before the games release, atleast when compared to gameplay, characters, etc
