I think bit of both is good, people play games to see whats up with em, so when they experience something unexpected or just "New" its a nice surprise, tho seeing progress is very good for marketing cuz you are very consistant and people will know that you really are working on it

I think cuz it kinda sounded stupid when it came out people latched onto that but now even tho people know they are good there's some sarcasm being thrown with the "you look like you would own an airfryer" as a goof

Thats a slippery thing to achieve but here's surface thoughts:
-Saying "poetic" shit all the time, posing weird, heterochromia
-good evil characters have a plausable reason for being how they are, edgy ones dont, they're just based of something stupid, childish grudges, or just immature behavior

I do stuff sometimes on the side for the normal 2D stuff but ya the rust is real, should be easy enough to get it all back when actually doing it for a while I still watch art vids all the time

Consuming media is great for just getting a metal library of a bunch of crap then just ask yourself what you like and cut the fat off of unecessarly stuff or add if it feels empty, for me boils down to "if an idea makes me giddy imma do it" or at least write it down, that helped a lot a few times
