I am very self-conscious about my art, but in this age of AI grifters and artist worries, I think the world needs more beginners showing off their progress to others. Here’s a couple works I did recently and I’m really proud of them. Don’t be afraid to be a beginner. Be proud of your progress.

I have to practice being okay with my doodles that I do, because if I want to expand into drawing I need to be ok with how they look, even if they’re not perfect. I made them with my own hands and that’s good enough for me.

If you don’t mind some sillier/lighthearted stuff, I really enjoy Ramen Akaneko and Dragon Goes House Hunting! One’s a slice of life about a cat-run ramen shop, the other is about a soft-hearted dragon looking for a home with a bunch of fantasy/gaming tropes poked fun at. Both are pretty fun!
