🌳センセイは🐺さんにも🍭ちゃん依存適正があるか確認したかった。(勝手に居座って根を張り育って感情を奪っていくのは自分で確認済み。エリスちゃんがいるから正気で居られる🌳センセイ。)
🌳センセイの思惑について、🍭ちゃんは自分を過小評価しているので看破することは出来ないけれど、不信感のタネくらいは与えちゃうかもと心配していた。

まだ抱いてない。
花街から逃げるなという意味で腕を掴まれたのかと思ったけれど、現世から消えるなという意味で掴んでくれたんだと理解し、それに対しての
「有難う」
です。この後も優しくて不器用な狼さんが愛おしくなってしまう🍭ちゃん。そしてその他の感情もコンプリート召喚されてしまう🐺さん。
平穏な空気が流れている場面を挟むのは大抵の場合「このあと感情グッチャグチャになりますよ覚悟してね」という意図だと思っています。

I wonder if people got upset when Fukuzawa and Ranpo fought. I loved that scene so much 🥹 It shows how they're partners and equals. Ranpo follows along because he has no ambition, but he's his own man & he'll make his own decisions, & Fukuzawa won't try to force him back in line
