If analysis justified a fallout warning the Group Warning Officer would pass this to the CCP after which the post would get the message via the WB1401.

You could pass the warning as a non-routine message to the posts (WO to Post Display Plotter then on via AD8010) but this involves extra steps.

Wb1401 is connected back to the Carrier Control Point (unidirectional speech) its only function is passing warning messages.

AD8010 is connected back to Group (two way omnibus circuit) it's passing information upwards for plotting and scientific analysis.

I did, I would argue, as it was part of the Reporting System rather than the Warning system, it doesn't need to wait for a Saturday (Only for me to have a free moment)!

I also have pictures of the earlier AD3460 (But don't think I have a AD163 Headset).

They upset me with exactly this. I was paying more for the lowest speed than a new customer would get for one of the highest.

When I enquired about an upgrade it was were only a couple of pounds more for double speed but I needed a new Router which of course came with an installation fee.

I am keen to make sure any redundant Siren Equipment present is removed/preserved and not scrapped.

The box does need lots of TLC but it would be a shame if it cant be moved and goes to scrap.

If it still has its original interior I would like to document it for traces of Siren control equipment. If any equipment is present I would be in a position to negotiate for its removal & preservation.

I am not actually sure.
I believe, but can find out, it was some sort of stamped metal.
The Prototypes were Bakelite type plastic and broke far too easily.
This is one of the best finishes I have seen on one as the finish on most has bubbled or flaked.

Question about the building that was rebuilt as the R30 (The WW2 Happidrome/Final GCI).
In the Late ROTOR Period (1955>) was this the location of the Eastern Sector Filter Room (CFP)?

Aye they were hiding, I was able to follow it for a bit on ADS-B exchange by playing with the filters but as soon as it goes out of range of what ever detector it vanishes.
It looked to have circled Pilton, Calder Road, Niddrie(ish) and then Clermiston before I lost it.

I am starting to get dizzy watching the Police Helicopter circling Calder Road, it has managed to drown out the fireworks if nothing else

Clandestine vigilante action to remove Christmas decorations in protest of the Corporation putting them up in November.

oooh, I never knew this, thank you.
Those pictures are fantastic, nice to see an unaltered interior. Some the pipes for the electrical cables look to be in the right place for the Siren, I think I am going to need to see if I can sweet talk a visit.

I think that's the one that was used as a micro museum during Porty Art Walk 2019
