Aw I hate to hear that! I love learning and hearing about how brains work tbh! That’s true. Sometimes I vacillate wildly between feeling free and still feeling beholden to someone else’s bigoted world view.

This was the greatest reply I could have gotten. It’s also fascinating how many lies people will tell to avoid accountability or cover for those triggered actions. The gaslighting just to save face or prove they aren’t ’bad people’ has always shocked me.
