That's it! Deadline for #ICA26 submissions are closed.

For those scholars who made the deadline, those who missed it, and those who didn't even know it was happening: You're doing a good job and your hair looks nice.

Looking forward to seeing you all at @icahdq.bsky.social in Cape Town!

Americans will go to any lengths to have to avoid using the metric system.

"How big is Hurricane Melissa? Well, it's approximately one central-Illinois wide."

Periodic reminder of the Media Bias Chart; and the importance of not using non-news sources to consider the news. Thanks, @adfontesmedia.bsky.social!

Wrapping up @mepsy.bsky.social's #MePsych25. It was a great time at @unidue.bsky.social, filled with friends, scholarship, and good chats over coffee and other drinks. It's amazing to have fit all this in to just a few days; and I'll be weeks unpacking the thoughts and inspiration from it.

For 16 years, this group of scholars have made Germany feel like home. Couldn't be more grateful to all of them.

Evoking @icahdq.bsky.social fun, #MePsy25 just got to experience a nationwide alert test mid-session. Speakers rolled with it like pros.

Always wonderful to be at #MediaPsych. Thank you to @germanneubaum.bsky.social and his @unidue.bsky.social team who arranged such a strong conference!

Interesting position to take, given the 'COVID vaccine policies' were put in place under the first Trump administration.

Go ahead and take away my Michigander card; but it's time to regulate big vehicles for private use. When *I* can be invisible to drivers, they're lethal in neighborhoods and school zones.

#ICA25 was a blast. Good scholarship, tremendous colleagues, divine inspiration, and an unexpected tailgate--the hallmarks of a successful convention. Can't wait to do it all again in 351 days in Cape Town.

And with that, #ica25 draws to a close. (With an even trippier conference already dancing on her corpse.) let's do it all again in Cape Town for #ica26!

Seeing great presentations from early career scholars makes me even more excited for the future of the field. Great job, Tina! #ica25

Looking at exhibit listings for an Air & Space museum, the "Replica" in this listing made me giggle. Like...yeah, we know it's not the original.

Canonically, Rey and Ben are first cousins once-removed, which makes this really on-brand for the Skywalkers.

I'm at #BloomingtonPublicLibrary today, trying a new way to recruit participants for a study. Stop by if you're in #BloNo and help take part in cool research about videochatting.

In 2020, UWash was my canary in a coal mine for the upcoming pandemic.

I'm guessing Seattle will once again play that role re: tariffs, looking at the decimation of shipping traffic in the port.

Ooh. I found an explainer for why I still call it Twitter.

This is the USA's first big time at the facist rodeo; but Germany, you knew better. What's going on?

I just received this email.

I mean...*I* knew about the new edition of #CMC. But perhaps you didn't? Well now you do, too. The second edition of "Computer-Mediated Communication" is out and available now.
