Now its your opinion that words magically have objective meaning in the universe and magically can control people, I simply disagree with this. Words don't have any power, real world material conditions do, and if those don't improve, why are we wasting time on the imaginary?

So trying to approach this from some scientific way is stupid, it isn't science, its culture, you can't prove that words are objectively harmful when words are literally made up gibberish by humans, the only harm is self inflicted by YOU, the words can't hurt you unless you let them.

Its just an opinion ultimately, you can try to justify it by appealing to authority needlessly, or you can except that its just an opinion you have, and mine is different, vocabulary isn't something that can be argued scientifically, there's no factual debate here, words are made up, by humans.

There is no logic to why certain slurs are allowed to be used while others arent so logically you must be either anti all slurs which would essentially mean you are incapable of insulting someone with speech for the rest of your life, or you agree with me, that certain slurs are okay. I agree that you have a point. So we should stop using words like idiot, moron, and dummy, etc because they are actually all the same as retard except their history has been longer in its use towards mentally handicapped people so lets start with all of those first. And they are by definition Slurs.

Why do u even have time to care about such a minor word usage? Who cares. Almost all Insults are slurs. U think they are fundamentally different from the R word? No. They aren't. Ur just not being logical, and yes because of how time works, u using it on this means u didn't on something else.

It takes more than two minutes to complain about it. It doesn't make sense, there are real problems in the world so why are you complaining about minor slur usage, esp. When the slur is being used to make a point in the article. It's as if you don't care about anything other than language.

I'm not angry, im sad Saying a simple word isn't the same thing as dehumanizing an entire group of people. You're judging someone's entire beliefs based on one characteristic. This is why I really have little hope for humanity. You're all just too reactionary to the tiniest things.

what is and isn't respect varies widely from person to person, the respectful thing to do in my friend group might not be the same as yours. Maybe you need to respect differences yourself, I am a leftist. Far left. But I also say "bad words" your much to quick to judge an entire person's character.

But what if you do not refuse to recognize someone for who they are and respect their right to self-identify etc etc. But you just use naughty words as a joke? To judge a person's actual feelings by a simple word being said in jest, is dehumanizing at best, and needlessly divisive to any movement.
