On suffrage: Mary Lee, an Irish immigrant, was the secretary and head of the Women's Suffrage League. With the League Lee travelled all over the state collecting signatures on a petition to grant women the right to vote. When presented to parliament the petition was 122m long.

Some of my writing on meaningful work has been translated into Portuguese by Nexo Jornal. And I've just come across a video on YouTube where a collective of teachers from Brazil include my piece in their discussion.
Pretty cool (and makes me wish I could speak Portuguese).
