Safe and easy connections to #Brighouse, Wellholme Park, and Brighouse Train Station.

How could it work?

* New crossings
* New junction layouts to keep traffic moving and make better use of space
* Bus stops and bus priority
* Welcoming gateway with planting and benches
New crossings, walking and cycling infrastructure and bus lanes feature in the area next to Sainsbury's car park. A new lane layout will replace the roundabout.

Brighouse Market construction complete.

Traders old and new are preparing to move in after the project team handed over the keys for the new market, built with funding from the UK Gov.

21 fixed stalls ☑️

Accessible entrances ☑️

Safer and more pleasant options for travel on the A641 south of #Brighouse. How could it work?

* Cycle routes separate from traffic
* Crossings in key locations for homes and new Woodhouse development
* Bus stops near crossings
* Junction upgrades
* Better links to train station
New cycling and walking routes could start from the junction of the A641 and Toothill Lane south of Brighouse. A new 30mph limit, separate cycle track, and adjustments to bus stop positions are proposed.

A new bridge over the Calder and Hebble Navigation in #Brighouse. How could it work?

Theatregoers told us they wanted improved access, better payments, and more comfort at Victoria Theatre Halifax

With UK Gov funding, we've completed:
3 new lifts
2 accessible toilets
new box office
new bar
upgraded payments
new flooring and lighting

The western gateway to Halifax town centre. A new way to get to key destinations from the rail station, places to meet people and a smoother layout to speed up car journeys. A new road will take traffic past the rail station and Eureka! car park entrance. Square Road outside Square Chapel will become a welcoming gateway to the east of Halifax.

Plans include:
✅ New and improved crossings
✅ Wider pavements
✅ Canal towpath improvements
✅ New cycle parking
