My household has 2 cars registered here. 50% are electric. My sister and BIL live in Atlanta, with 3 cars registered at their address. 1 all electric, 1 plug-in hybrid, and one ICE.

This hurts my heart. I am so sorry.

I had a holiday craft market last Friday-Saturday. Most years, I sell a couple $100 worth of my crafts. This year? $13. I lost my ass, not even coming close to recouping the booth fee, nevermind my time there. Fewer people shopping, and those that were there didn’t spend money. Other vendors, same.

I HATE those! My mom doesn’t get them, but my dad and I do.

I spent the night at my sister’s house right next to Piedmont Park last night. When I left yesterday, my house was 70°, with no heat or AC. By the time I got home tonight, it was down to 59° inside, because I forgot to turn the heat on. Oops.

I live in a northern exurb of Atlanta. We got snow today! Not real snow, but enough to say it happened. My transfer student from Miami had never seen snow before. He was beyond excited.

My old white parents are currently 84 and 82. During the 2016 election cycle, they were a house divided. Dad was all in for HRC, while Mom favored Bernie. They voted for Clinton, Biden, and Harris. Wrote postcards for Harris in 2024. I am SO lucky to have them; I love, like, and respect them.

I never get those fun texts. I can’t decide whether to be thankful that I don’t, or jealous that I don’t get to tell the fascists to fuck off.

Nope, not bad at all.

Grover Cleveland here made me late for work today. She snuggled in bed with me, demanding affection. Who am I to deny her?

Oh, UGH!!! Those years are so hard. As my father quotes, “It came to pass, not to stay.” But JFC, it is hard.

I absolutely LOVED mine when I was a kid.

When you confuse a violent criminal with a guy that was accused of passing a counterfeit $20…amazing.

Ooh, what gorgeous pics! I am spending a couple of days there next summer. I can’t wait!

Oh, look at that. Being fat qualifies me to get a Covid booster. And who said there were no health benefits to being overweight?

My daughter worked the nursery last night. She still had 2/3 of her vat of coffee left when she drove home this morning, and she didn’t eat all night. I couldn’t do her job.
