Late-stage Scorsese is as good as any other era in the man’s career. Just watched The Irishman for the umpteenth time and it’s as timeless as Goodfellas or Casino. Such a crowning achievement that didn’t get its due at the time, but watch it continue to age like wine.

Finally watched #TheSubstance and I wish I saw it sooner. There was such a commitment to its quality that every filmmaking aspect stands out. The original writing, kinetic cinematography, impressive practical effects, and outstanding performances (especially Moore-WOW) make for an excellent movie.

They had the fight on at the bar last night, but Uncle Buck was also playing on TNT and it was the much better option.

Took Murphy to a cabin last weekend and felt this was a good place to share such! #corgi
