Fun side fact, I learned a few days ago when I discovered a big snail egg sac at the top of the tank that Gary is, in fact, a girl. However, I will never not name a snail Gary. It's just required.

My conservative parents lived in Texas for years and kept trying to convince me to move out there. My dad's whole strategy was to suggest nearby Austin because "YOU'D like Austin, it's like the Berkeley of Texas".
