Today's experiment per mum's request: filled with caramelised cabbage (dinstani kupus). Last few rows have a cheesy filling (crème fraîche, egg, cream, fresh cheese) to use up leftover filo.

Found smoked pork ribs, cured beef and smoked bacon in the freezer. Autumn is knocking on my door anyway, time for beans! The Balkan way. Eaten with a drizzle of balsamic, and a salted cabbage salad with garlic.

Today we had kulajda (Czech mushroom soup), made using my friend's recipe and mushrooms. Poached egg on top.
