P.S. Artists cannot also be betas (or writers) because fics must remain anonymous until artists are paired up with writers later on in the fest.

All betas are expected to commit to at least one fic. If willing, they can beta for up to two fics. Writers can also sign up as betas, as long as they go to our Tumblr linked in the bio and fill out the forms for both roles.

If you’re unfamiliar with a Big Bang: writers will create a fic with a minimum word count of 20,000 words, which will then be edited by a beta. All completed fics will be shared anonymously with participating artists, who will choose the one(s) that inspire them to create fanart.

Once you’re all signed up, you’ll receive a welcome email (with a link to our discord) within 24-48 hours! Joining the server is required, but don't worry, you don't have be super active on it unless you want to be!
