When the state of the country gets too heavy, do good!

Our school garden club, spent the afternoon picking up trash on our campus.

Positive action and building community helps to combat the feelings of doom and overwhelm.

I hate that I have to do this. I wish there was more I could do.
Today I am cutting up "red cards" so my students know their rights.
Students were so anxious today, and rightly so. ICE has NO place in public schools.

BREAKING: The convicted felon who incited this January 6th insurrection just took an oath that he has no intention of keeping.

Today is a day of mourning for America.

‘Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.’ — Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

On #MLKDay, we honor his legacy by choosing love over hate, justice over injustice, and hope over fear.

Caution while planting tulip bulbs, they can cause an allergic reaction!
I'm probably the only nature girlie who didn't know this, but it was too miserable to not share.🙅‍♀️

Friendly reminder that if you buy a book on Kindle, you're only paying for the rights to read, not own. If a book truly gets banned, it will be taken away from digital platforms like Kindle, nook, etc. Consider getting physical copies of banned (or other) books!

READ BANNED BOOKS

I used to love reading dystopian fiction in high school.

Reaaaaally not enjoying living through dystopian reality as an adult.
