I did a study from the Dark Fae reference pack offered by @howardlyonart.bsky.social. I wanted to focus on the overall mood, lighting, and use of color. Ive been a little burnt out, so this was a fun and low pressure piece to do, and I really like the overall result!

Grimm Allegory at @poetictigergallery will open on July 19, where my painting Temptation will be available ✨️

I picked Snow White as my story. I find themes of forbidden fruit interesting - going against natural desires of accepting what we want & having to face consequences that may follow.

Interpretation of Echo and Narcissus myth. Think I'm all done with this Echo and Narcissus piece, and just in time for spring with all the daffodils (also known as narcissus!) in bloom. This was a lot of fun to work on, and has been a myth I've wanted to tackle for a long time.

The Once Upon a Nightmare show Curio Art Gallery is open for Feb, which includes a small piece by me! Vasilisa is inspired by the fairy tale of the same name. I love fairy tales that feature strong female characters, who perseveres no matter their circumstance.
