I wanted to have an open mind about the new season of The Witcher but it has firmly closed after these initial 5 minutes.

Happy to know that some things never really do change. Like IUPD/BPD’s inability to direct traffic in a helpful way.

“Not everyone rinses their wife’s glass.”

Ladies, if your husband isn’t willing to rinse out your glass (while he’s doing his own) at the beer festival, get a new husband.

Today I was reminded of one of the best pieces of advice I've probably ever given out: you don't get a gold star for suffering.

I'm going to need to get a billboard-sized poster of that for my office this school year.

Please just tell me *EXACTLY* what you want from me because I’m trying to play your troll riddle games to fill out these forms and I just want to do it right so you’ll approve them and we can all move on with our lives.

I became a Certified Research Admin in 2021. Certificate expires June 2026. I don't know that it's really benefited me outside of a few moments when I've gotten to be like "I certifiably know what I am talking about" when arguing.

Do I finish the remaining ~30 contact hours or just let it lapse?

Does anyone know what's up with @mohelaofficial.bsky.social? More specifically, does anyone know what they're doing/updating that would cause them to drop by credit score by 95 points?

This statement from the NSF is insane.

Science is, in essence, designed to separate the true from the false.

Understanding how falsehoods spread is key to the scientific endeavor. It is not a violation of free speech to be proven wrong.

I will be including this screenshot of a github issue on any and all future resumes to really highlight the kind of energy I bring to the team:

About 4 years ago a coworker declared me queen of Thanksgiving potlucks. Well I’m upgrading myself to the gospel of Thanksgiving potlucks as I convinced a researcher across the country to hold one with her lab this year.
