Love when we get some data in underrepresented demographics - the TOPSPIN trial was tailored to HTNsive patients in India and assessed CCB/ACEi vs ACEi/diuretic vs CCB/diuretic – found that all 3 combinations were equally effective.

(GLP1RAs have traditionally had issues with insurance funding d/t lack of "clinical outcomes" (e.g. just outcomes looking at weight loss) - late breaking SUMMIT trial in HFpEF pts at AHA showing clinical benefit as well 👀🙌)
ICYMI: the solution to the primary care shortage is universal GLP-1 access. #medsky

I'm still not convinced DOACs should be used in the first 3 months s/p bioprosthetic valve replacement over VKAs. And ENBALV def didn't sway me the other way either in what I know so far. What are your thoughts? #AHA #ENBALV
