Eurovision Christmas Card Contest: which national mail service will deliver my postcards first? 100 points to host nation, UK, with a card to Nottingham, delivered in 9 days. This doesn't really count, because it only had to travel 100 miles, so 11.11 miles per day.

Loved my afternoon at Pitt Rivers, where the fellows taught me about Betel Nut Beauties who tempt Taiwanese truckers to stop and buy nuts by dressing in skimpy lingerie, and about the secret gang signs in Orthodox religious iconography. Every day's a school day in Oxford.
