As New Yorkers have their health care ripped away, Mike Lawler's law is giving large corporations an additional $16 billion in tax breaks this year.

As winter has started, New Yorkers are paying some of the highest electric bills in the country. Bills have gone up 33% in the last 10 years, with families bracing for even higher heating costs this winter.

We don’t have to accept this.
Electric bills have soared in NY. See how it compares to other states
NY had the 17th highest monthly electric bill during a recent three-month period. But the worst states had much higher average bills. See the trends.

So great to join the Peekskill NAACP this week. I’m grateful for their leadership and commitment to justice and opportunity for every family in our community.

Wishing you and your family a happy and healthy Thanksgiving.

Today I’m especially grateful for this community – for every person in NY17 and beyond who’s shown up, volunteered, chipped in, and believed in what we’re building together.

Spent this morning helping prepare Thanksgiving meals with some incredible volunteers and Assemblymember Chris Burdick at Temple Shaaray Tefila. Grateful for this community in service to one another.

The only person Mike Lawler cares about is himself. I’m running to actually fight for this district and lower costs for working families in the Hudson Valley.

Intimidation won’t keep us out of this fight. This is about who we are as a nation.

$856 – that’s how much MORE the average NY family has paid due to Trump's inflation this year compared to last year.

And that’s only counting through September.

This weaponization of the executive branch against a political opponent is egregious and straight up un-American. This administration keeps going further and further over this line in ways that undermine our Constitutional norms. This isn't ok and we cannot normalize it.

In what world is nursing not a professional degree. We already have a nursing shortage—we need policies that help drive young people into nursing not away from it.
What degrees not being classified as "professional" means for student loans
Under the newly revamped definition of “professional degree” programs, nursing and other key healthcare jobs have been excluded.

Thank you to Gwen, Nora, Julia, Becca, Brett, Alex, and Lenny for your endorsements. I know I can beat Mike Lawler and deliver real leadership to the Hudson Valley, but I can’t do it alone.

I was in Rockland this weekend helping pass out food for Thanksgiving with TOUCH and Rockland Community Against Hunger, and I am once again reminded what makes the Hudson Valley so special. We show up for one another.

I am deeply grateful for the support of Village of Haverstraw Trustee Richard Sena. Richard has always fought for what’s right, and his endorsement reflects exactly what this moment demands: courage and a commitment to protecting working families.

Thank you to Giffords PAC for your incredible support.

As an army combat veteran and gun owner, I understand the responsibility that comes with firearms.

This is America failing – recent grads are increasingly being hung out to dry.

We need to be planning for a changing workforce – increasing pathways to the middle class and ensuring young adults don’t start their careers with thousands of dollars in debt with fewer prospects.

The energy in Putnam is incredible. Make no mistake – we are going to flip NY-17 blue in 2026 because of the incredible work done in Putnam County in 2025. We flipped critical town council and supervisor seats, and made HUGE gains across the county.

It was so great to spend yesterday with Westchester Black Women’s Political Caucus Greater Bedford. These women are incredible leaders in our community – and they are how we are going to flip NY17 and deliver for Hudson Valley families.

I am honored to have the support of Cortlandt Supervisor Dr. Richard Becker. A true leader and selfless servant who puts delivering for our community first. Time to flip NY-17 and get leadership at the federal level that will support our incredible state and local leaders in the Hudson Valley.
