Somehow I missed the existence of Woops until a couple of years ago--odd because it's exactly the sort of ill-conceived, instantly doomed nonsense I usually adore.

A close second: Robert Mache of the Continental Drifters (etc) played guitar on my album Third, and told me playing on my album was, and this is his quote, "cooler than when I played on the Klaus Nomi album." I didn't buy it then or now, but I very much appreciated the sentiment.

(After that? Eh, things got complicated. But it was a hell of a great thing, for a while.)

Such a fantastic game! Great characters, marvelous design, epic scope, humor and heart - so much of it sadly missing in more recent Borderlands games (though I'm still a fan of the series overall)

Can't go wrong with Night Court and Clue, but I may wander into the Streisand or Mandrell concerts, check out that Zucker Bros "newsmagazine" thing or, god help me, watch some of Mark Russell's usual dire imitation Tom Lehrer but.

At the time, when I was a kid, we watched all the CBS comedies religiously. As an adult, I'm watching McCallum and Ross Martin in The Invisible Man, hoping I have a VCR to tape Shatner in Barbary Coast, and maybe catching that Charles Ives special & that Lee Grant sitcom (don't remember it at all!)

The first reason is that even I, a Robin fan from childhood, forgot that thing even existed.
