Finally cleaned 2 years of dust and cobwebs from my build scripts and uploaded a *test* build of MewnBase 1.0.2 to Steam ("testing" beta channel) and itch.io (zips tagged "unstable")

Mostly crash/bug fixes but also lets you pin a crafting recipe to the HUD. cairn4.itch.io/mewnbase

First attempt at a DIY wooden eurorack sidecar/overflow case is finally "done" and ready for some modules 🥳. Next time would go with thinner wood to cut down on weight, 3/4" maple is pretty heavy. Drilled holes... mostly line up haha.
Wooden 84hp eurorack case outside on the deck. uses Tiptop Audio Happy Ending case kit parts and power supply. Has Maths module and a mix of panel blanks to test fit.

Opened java MewnBase for the first time in a while. Dusting off cobwebs, trying to wrap up some old bug fixes that had never gone out in a build... but got sidetracked play-testing and decided for *some reason* that being able to pin a recipe to the HUD was something I needed to add? 😆 #gamedev

Designed and laser cut some Star Trek TNG-styled lamp shade panels last night for my old IKEA light. Pretty snug and held together with barely enough glue, but still really happy with how it came out 😄

Made some attempts at designing a little mode cheat sheet panel for the Peaks Dead Man's Catch firmware this afternoon. #eurorack
Finished panel in a eurorack case next to a Mutable Instruments Peaks clone by After Later Audio. Various attempts at laser engraving diff text styles, icons for the LED indicators. Finished panels laser cut out.

wasn't impressed by the generic, unimaginative printed paper book covers and posters in this model kit lol. "Book", "Garden Time", "G/Jarden"? 🤔

... so printed some new ones, and a tiny copy of the NIN poster that's been hanging in my office forever
two small fake books made of paper and balsa wood on a cutting mat. one is titled "Garden Time, a Book About Flowers" and the other just "Book" with a girl silhouette on it. small book models, but one with a tiny print version of the Dune hardcover, and another from The Hobbit. next to them is a tiny Nine Inch Nails 2006 tour poster the model so far with most of its tiny, tedious parts.

Finished the little garden house model this weekend 🌱📚
Laser cut small "garden house" wood/cardboard/paper model kit that looks like a tiny cozy greenhouse with tiny furniture and lighting. Placed in a book shelf next to a christmas cactus.
