AEW stars Wardlow and Kamille are joining The Miz on American Gladiators reboot
AEW on Twitter The missing AEW stars finally have a major new project to work on. Wardlow and Kamille are two of the many AEW stars who disappeared from TV a long time ago, with no return in sight. But fret not, wrestling fans, because you’ll be able to watch them alongside WWE star The Miz on Amazon’s reboot of American Gladiators. The Hollywood Reporter has the list of all 16 gladiators who will be featured on the show. It includes AEW wrestlers Wardlow & Kailey Latimer aka Kamille, former WWE star Eric Bugenhagen aka Rick Boogs, and OVW wrestlers Jessie Godderz & Jessica Roden aka J-Rod. The outlet offers the following details on the gladiators, as well as the broadcast team. > “The new season will feature 16 gladiators — eight women and eight men, ages 22 to 38 (and standing 5’5” to 6′ 5” tall, weighing between 140 and 270 pounds) — picked from across the country. The group includes bodybuilders, pro wrestlers, former Division I athletes, CrossFit champions and military veterans. > > The series will be hosted by WWE Superstar Mike “The Miz” Mizanin. His sidekicks will be sideline reporter Rocsi Diaz, the former co-host of BET’s 106 & Park, THR has learned exclusively; sports commentator Chris Rose will be on play by play. Rose hosts NFL GameDay Final on NFL Network alongside Maurice Jones-Drew.” Here’s the full list of 16 gladiators, though we don’t yet know what their new gladiator names will be (like Nitro & Gemini from the original show). * Abigail Lay (Springfield, MI) * Ayinde Warren (Silver Springs, MD) * Dani Means (Los Angeles, CA) * Dani Speegle (Houston, TX) * Drew Aggouras (Boston, MA) * Emily Nelson (Mesa, AZ) * Eric Bugenhagen (Milwaukee, WI) * Fessy Shafaat (Orlando, FL) * Jason Peele (Southern Pines, NC) * Jessica Roden (Mount Vernon, OH) * Jessie Godderz (Weed, CA) * Joseph Hall (Sacramento, CA) * Kailey Latimer (Durham, NC) * Lu Faustin (Brooklyn, NY) * Michael Wardlow (Middlefield, OH) * Sydney Hunter (Sacramento, CA) There’s no information on the show’s filming schedule or when it will be available to watch. Are you hyped up to see Wardlow, Kamille, and Boogs become real life superheroes on the American Gladiators reboot? R-Truth drops F-bombs in response to Bully Ray’s criticism of his Raw return
Ron Killings is sick of people telling him who the f*** he is. On this week’s episode of Raw, R-Truth showed up at the commentary table with a pair of scissors and shockingly cut off his hair. After dismissing the notion that he’s a gimmick or sideshow act, Truth loudly declared, “I am Ron Killings! I am the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth! Now put some respect on my name!” It turns out that Busted Open Radio’s Bully Ray aka Bubba Ray Dudley had a big problem with the ending of this segment. He said Killings never should have said the word “truth” after cutting his hair: > “Don’t remind me of what you are trying to get away from. You cut your hair off in front of the world because the hair represented R-Truth. I don’t want to hear it no more. You’re Ron Killings, end of story. Forget about the tagline about the truth. Forget about mentioning the truth.” Killings appeared on Busted Open Radio (when Bully wasn’t there) and responded to this criticism by dropping several F-Bombs in Bully’s direction, which you can check out in the following video: Killings’ main point is that everyone has someone trying to tell them who the f*** they are, but he’s not gonna be that nice guy anymore who is taken advantage of. Killings knows why he cut his hair, and Bully doesn’t. People better put respect on his name, because he is the truth. He’s gonna do what he wants to do because he’s driving now. What do you make of Killings’ sharp response to Bully Ray, Cagesiders?

It sounds like a new member of The Bloodline is debuting on SmackDown
WWE A new report indicates WWE already has a replacement ready after Jacob Fatu turned on The Bloodline at Money in the Bank. Solo Sikoa’s branch of The Bloodline is in shambles after United States Champion Jacob Fatu turned on him this past weekend at WWE’s Money in the Bank premium live event. Jacob was clearly the biggest star in the group, so his assumed departure now leaves a gaping hole that needs to be filled. There’s no way Sikoa and JC Mateo can take out the Samoan Werewolf without reinforcements joining the cause, after all. A new report from PW Insider suggests help is on the way, because former NJPW star Hikuleo is scheduled to be in the building at this Friday’s (June 13) episode of SmackDown. Hikuleo reportedly signed with WWE last summer, and it’s been almost exactly one year since we started to see him linked to a new WWE ring name of Talla Tonga. Jacob Fatu beat him to the punch in joining The Bloodline before the end of June 2024, and we’re still waiting for Hikuleo to make his WWE debut. Insider says he’ll be at SmackDown tomorrow night, so perhaps the big moment is finally here. Are you excited for Hikuleo’s imminent arrival in WWE, or will you only believe it when you see it? Let me know in the comments below, Cagesiders.

Chelsea Green says most of the NXT women are there because of Total Divas
WWE Chelsea Green knows there is a demand for the return of the Total Divas reality show, and she explains why it will happen. During an interview on the Lightweights Podcast with Joe Vulpis, WWE star Chelsea Green said there is a demand for the return of the Total Divas reality show, and she thinks it will happen. > “Every minute of every hour of every day I think about Total Divas. The demand is there, and I get told that all the time. I’ve also been told by numerous different people in WWE and outside of WWE and Hollywood, that they’ve been pushing for it for years. > > ...It needs to happen, and it will happen. I think it’ll happen whether it’s called Total Divas or not. I think it’ll come back in one way or another, because how could it not? Truly, Total Divas is what got 75 percent of the females in NXT there. It attracted those women to wrestling.” I’d be interested in knowing the actual statistic regarding how many NXT women are there because of Total Divas, rather than Chelsea’s best guess about it. Can it really be as high as three out of every four women? Chelsea says wins and losses don’t matter to the fans who discovered wrestling via Total Divas, at least in her experience, and there’s nothing wrong with that. > “When I talk to a regular girly from Canada, one of the girls I went to high school with, one of my best friends, they know wrestling through knowing Nattie and the Bellas through Total Divas. They don’t care about winning or losing. They just want to know who I work with that was on Total Divas. And I get it, ‘cause I was there. I was deep. I started in 2014, and I believe that might’ve been the first year [Total Divas began]. Total Divas might have come out a couple months after I started, and I was like, this is the best thing ever. > > I mean, I think my goal is to always attract women to wrestling and it’s not necessarily because I need you to love wrestling. I just loved the fan base that surrounded Total Divas, because I was in it. I was a fan girl. That’s why I am obsessed with the Bellas. And look at them. Their following is amazing. They have a cult following of women. That’s what I want. Fuck the boys! I want the girlies and the gays to follow me.” Do you think Chelsea Green is doing a great job attracting women to wrestling? Is the return of a show like Total Divas a good thing for the industry with that goal in mind? Let me know in the comments below, Cagesiders.

AEW pulled Komander from Dynamite due to legit injury; Ultimo Guerrero ‘saved his life’
AEW The AEW star is injured after one of his high-risk spots went wrong. AEW star Komander was originally scheduled to compete last night (June 11) on the Summer Blockbuster episode of Dynamite in a trios match against MJF, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin. However, an angle aired during the show where The Hurt Syndicate attacked Komander backstage, injuring his leg and removing his mask in the process. He was then replaced in the trios match by CMLL star Mascara Dorada. After it was initially reported that AEW pulled Komander from Dynamite due to a legitimate injury, Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer provided more details on what happened to him: > “He was wrestling on Sunday in Oaxaca, and he was doing the rope walk deal...He got all the way through the ropes, slipped when he was trying to do the Fosbury, and essentially Ultimo Guerrero saved his life. But he was hurt. > > I don’t know the severity of it or anything, but the last word I heard is that he’s not expected to be back for the Arena Mexico show on the 20th, which was his next really big match. It was gonna be the Sky Team, which is Mistico, Neon, and Mascara Dorada, defending the CMLL world trios titles against Hologram, Bandido, and Komander. So they’re gonna need a new guy in that match.” Komander has earned a reputation for performing some of the most breathtaking spots in pro wrestling using his rope walk technique, but this time it went awry and resulted in an injury that apparently could have been much worse if not for Ultimo Guerrero.

Report: Brie Bella is in talks with WWE to ‘unretire’ and return for Evolution 2
WWE Brie is apparently ‘pissed’ about what happened when her twin sister Nikki returned to WWE Raw this week. TMZ reports that Brie Bella is in talks with WWE for a comeback, just in time for the all-women’s premium live event _Evolution 2_ that’s coming up on July 13. This isn’t the most surprising news given that Brie’s twin sister Nikki just returned on this week’s Raw to set up a match with Liv Morgan. Here is an excerpt from TMZ’s story: > “A source with direct knowledge tells us ... Nikki’s twin is in talks to unretire and help her sister kick some ass at the promotion’s all-women Pay-Per-view event, ‘Evolution,’ next month. > > We’re told Brie is pissed about Morgan referencing Nikki’s highly publicized split from Artem Chigvintsev — who was arrested for domestic violence in August 2024, resulting in the couple’s divorce a month later. > > If the two sides come to an agreement, it would be the first time in a few years the 41-year-old appears on WWE television. Brie’s last outing came in 2022 ... when she made a surprise cameo during the Women’s ‘Royal Rumble.’” I think the implication that Morgan’s kayfabe promo on Raw is a genuine motivating factor for Brie’s return is as credible as Triple H’s nonsense about R-Truth’s exit from the company being “All part of the show, man.” At the first Evolution event in 2018, Brie was ringside for Nikki’s main event match against Ronda Rousey. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez happen to be the current WWE women’s tag team champions, so there’s an obvious title match to be made with the Bella Twins if Brie is competing in the ring this time.

The plot thickens between Hangman, Swerve & The Young Bucks
@AEW That, and more from June 11’s big Summer Blockbuster edition of Dynamite & Collision... right here. Just when it seemed like Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland might be able to be something other than mortal enemies when Strickland told Page he deserved to have his childhood home burned down, The Young Bucks showed up at AEW _Dynasty_ to cost Swerve the World title. Matt & Nick Jackson told the world they’d done it as part of a plan they have with their pal Hangman, and Swerve believed them. That new reason to distrust each other, when added to how they spent the better part of the past two years trying to kill each other? That’s why Will Ospreay’s been unable to get Page and Strickland to agree to put their differences aside to ensure Hanger takes the AEW World title from Jon Moxley at _All In Texas_. On June 11, AEW threaded the story that will main event that July 12 stadium show throughout Summer Blockbuster’s four hours. The night began with Ospreay taking superkicks from The Bucks to protect Swerve. Later, Mox and his Death Riders tied up Page and dragged him to the ring for a lecture and an assault. The Opps came to his aid, and the Cowboy vowed to “ride through death” to take the belt from Moxley. He might be willing to do that, but just last week Page told the world he would never work with Swerve to do anything. Hanger may not want to work with his nemesis, but in a backstage scene outside the wounded Ospreay’s locker room, he told Matt & Nick to leave him, Will... and even Swerve alone. He also revealed that he hadn’t planned anything with his old Elite teammates, and promised to burn them alive if they didn’t do what he said. The Bucks agree that Hangman is their enemy now. Then we find out that Prince Nana was listening, and his guy Swerve heard every word of it. Will THIS be what gets Page and Strickland to coexist and maybe even work together for the next month? Let us know what you think in the comments below. On your way there, check out the rest of the highlights from from last night’s back-to-back episodes _Dynamite_ AND _Collision_ in the following playlist: * Will Ospreay & Swerve Strickland go to war in an epic rematch! * Will Ospreay takes a thumbtack Superkick for Swerve Strickland * MJF pledges to bring back the American Champion against Mistico * Hangman Page escapes a Death Riders ambush with help from The Opps * The history of the Kazuchika Okada vs Kenny Omega rivalry * Kazuchika Okada assaults Kenny Omega, aligns with Don Callis * Kyle Fletcher calls out Adam Cole after facing Anthony Bowens * Anna Jay & Tay Melo outsmart Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford * Atlantis & Atlantis Jr. face off vs. FTR before chaos breaks out * Mercedes Moné spoils Toni Storm’s win vs. Julia Hart * “An Austrian horror story” Thekla takes on Queen Aminata * Don Callis Family gets a W before the Grand Slam Mexico 12-man tag For complete results from last night’s four-hour show, click **here**. AEW Summer Blockbuster recap & reactions: Omega spitting blood
AEW’s YouTube Break this week’s Dynamite and Collision with us here! AEW Summer Blockbuster (June 11, 2025) emanated from Moda Center in Portland, OR. The four-hour special was a double block of Dynamite and Collision back-to-back featuring Kenny Omega falling into a dangerous trap, Swerve Strickland battling Will Ospreay to a draw, Hangman Page clearing the air, and more. Catch up on all the details with excellent play-by-play from Claire Elizabeth. **Okada swerve leaves Omega spitting blood** Kazuchika Okada and Kenny Omega were supposed to have a simple contract signing for the winner take all title bout at All In, however, Okada pulled a fast one to leave Omega spitting blood. Something seemed fishy early in the show when Don Callis shouted complaints about how Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher weren’t getting title shots. Okada responded with his signature catchphrase for Callis. > AEW Continental Champion @rainmakerXokada is rudely interrupted by @TheDonCallis Family! > > Watch #AEWSummerBlockbuster LIVE on TBS & MAX pic.twitter.com/hIW53AIcJP > > — All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) June 12, 2025 This felt like seeds were being planted for an unlikely tag team with Omega against the Callis Family. Nope. That was far from the case. After AEW aired an epic history recap of the rivalry between Okada and Omega in NJPW, they met in the ring for the proceedings. Tony Schiavone revealed a special Unified Championship belt. > WINNER TAKES ALL! > > The first look at the new AEW Unified Championship! > > Watch #AEWSummerBlockbuster LIVE on TBS & MAX pic.twitter.com/M538343yM9 > > — All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) June 12, 2025 Okada signed first without a word. Omega had a pep talk to leave it all in the ring one final time. After Omega signed the contract, Callis butt in with the same complaints. Omega shushed him with facts that he already beat both Fletcher and Takeshita. To the back of the line with them. Omega claimed to know all of Callis’ tricks, but he missed this next one. Okada attacked Omega from behind. He was in cahoots with Callis. > How long has @RainmakerXOkada been working with @TheDonCallis?! > > Watch #AEWSummerBlockbuster LIVE on TBS & MAX pic.twitter.com/yewhIG5dHs > > — All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) June 12, 2025 Okada used a steel baton to strike Omega right in the diverticulitis. Medical personnel loaded Omega on a stretcher, but Okada landed a flying elbow drop to the midsection. On the floor, Okada connected on one more elbow drop off the apron. That impact left Omega spitting up blood in tremendous pain. > Don Callis and Kazuchika Okada were not satisfied with attacking Kenny Omega; they looked to incapacitate him ahead of #AEWAllInTexas#AEWSummerBlockbuster is LIVE on TBS and max pic.twitter.com/zp2g0lN1nQ > > — AEW on TV (@AEWonTV) June 12, 2025 AEW fooled me on that one. I thought it was heading to unlikely tag team partners, which would have been silly but also acceptable. Instead, the direction was even better. It was still silly with the way Okada dropped elbows on Omega in a gurney and also how Omega spit up blood so forcefully, but it was a heck of a television segment to sell the fight. The NJPW video package was a great job to get those fans salivating. This Callis segment works for the fans that never saw that rivalry. As for Okada joining Callis, that is a shoulder shrug at this point. The Callis Family has so many members that anybody not approached to join should be insulted. Hopefully, the All In match will keep its focus on Okada versus Omega without too much Callis. **Bruv triangle and a 30-minute draw** AEW hit a home run in the latest developments for the bruv triangle between Hangman Page, Swerve Strickland, and Will Ospreay. It started by addressing a key issue from last week about Hangman’s foolhardy confidence to beat the Death Riders by himself. This week’s episode opened with Christopher Daniels giving the cowboy advice that he will need help to battle the numbers game. Daniels suggested that Hangman rectify hard feelings. That was solid story exploration. The scene took a comedic turn when Moxley was in disguise as a dude peeing in the corner. The Death Riders followed Hangman from behind. I can only assume that the sound of his cowboy boots clacking on the concrete echoed too loud to hear the goons in pursuit. Seriously though, this was a key scene. > .@facdaniels offers some advice to Hangman Adam Page… but the eyes of the Death Riders are always watching. > > Watch #AEWSummerBlockbuster LIVE on TBS & MAX pic.twitter.com/ZpS0b78X9c > > — All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) June 12, 2025 Part two was the rematch between Swerve and Ospreay. Despite the arguments, respect remained. Swerve offered a handshake, and Ospreay accepted. They started the match in a Greco-Roman circle jerk into an athletic stalemate. It pretty cool. Swerve cracked the first bevy blow and busted Ospreay bleeding from the nose. The match progressed as exciting as expected. For example, this diving Hidden Blade through the ropes was awesome. > .@WillOspreay crashing into your screens and the back of Swerve Strickland's head as #AEWSummerBlockbuster is LIVE on TBS and @sportsonmax pic.twitter.com/elsyERqLqI > > — AEW on TV (@AEWonTV) June 12, 2025 Both men kicked out of signature maneuvers for that video game style. The pounding took its toll on Swerve’s knee and Ospreay’s shoulder. Both were damaged goods by the end. > Swerve has to go Notorious, but can he get the win? #AEWSummerBlockbuster is LIVE on TBS and max! pic.twitter.com/ug7U80xpZY > > — AEW on TV (@AEWonTV) June 12, 2025 Time was running down with neither man close to quitting. Swerve hit the House Call kick. Ospreay rolled under the ropes for protection. Swerve sized up a flying stomp. That’s when the bell rang for a 30-minute time-limit draw. Swerve called for sudden death. Ospreay was game. However, the Death Riders ruined the party. The Young Bucks swooped in from behind for a BTE Trigger on Swerve and cuffed him to the roped for a superkick party. The Jacksons put on spiked shoes, but Ospreay stepped in front to take the bullet for Swerve. > WAIT A MINUTE! @WillOspreay just took the shot for @SwerveConfident from the @YoungBucks! > > Watch #AEWSummerBlockbuster LIVE on TBS & MAX pic.twitter.com/XswhAl8X5e > > — All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) June 12, 2025 So, where was Hangman in all this? It seemed weird to leave Ospreay high and dry. Thankfully, his absence was explained later in the show. Hangman was scheduled for promo time. Instead, the Death Riders had him hogtied with duct tape. Jon Moxley wanted to have a focused conversation. Hangman better step up to be the man everyone wants him to become, or pack his shit and get out. Hangman bucked wild, so the Death Riders put the boots to him. As they set up a chair around his neck, the Opps ran in for the save. Hangman was free to speak. He will ride through death to take the world title from Moxley. > "I don't know what it is you've been searching for, but you have exactly four weeks to find it." - @JonMoxley > > Watch #AEWSummerBlockbuster LIVE on TBS & MAX pic.twitter.com/AynMCHvAmw > > — All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) June 12, 2025 Later in the show, the Young Bucks took credit for keeping Swerve busy and clearing a path for Hangman to win the Owen Hart Cup. The cowboy was at his wits’ end with the idea of a master plan. There was never a plan. He never asked for help from the Jacksons. Hangman ordered them to stay out of his business, stay out of Ospreay’s business, and stay out of Swerve’s business. Hangman issued a deranged threat that the next house he burns down will have the Bucks trapped inside. The scene transitioned to the locker room in the background. Prince Nana and Swerve overheard the conversation. Delicious drama and delicious match. The rematch between Swerve and Ospreay delivered the goods, all except a winner. It’s interesting that Swerve was in control at the buzzer. I figured it would be even or Osreapy in control to sort of get his win back. I guess this just builds more emotion for the moment when Ospreay finally beats Swerve. Eating the superkicks was a heroic move from Ospreay as the purest soul of the bunch. That looks like motivation enough to unite on the Bucks. The Hangman story was great. AEW closed doors and opened new doors on his development. Swerve’s trust issues should be swayed for a temporary partnership for the greater good. The pieces are falling into place for the Death Riders downfall at All In. Let’s blitz through the rest of the four-hour Summer Blockbuster. **Mistico defeated Blake Christian.** Lee Johnson helped Christian make the match competitive. Christian’s best chance to win was a springboard 450 splash. Mistico kicked out, so Christian went up top again. Mistico sprang to his feet to counter for a Spanish Fly to win. After the match, MJF decided to give Mistico a match next week at Grand Slam Mexico, and he will wear his American gear to take the mask. When Mistico stood up for himself, the Hurt Syndicate attacked. “Speedball” Mike Bailey, Kevin Knight, and Mascara Dorada made the save leading into the next match. > "I look forward to ripping that dime store mask off your stupid face!" - @The_MJF > > Watch #AEWSummerBlockbuster LIVE on TBS & MAX pic.twitter.com/9WdgXJnrV3 > > — All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) June 12, 2025 Solid showcase for Mistico, although, I’d say Christian got in too much offense when the idea is to portray Mistico as a top star worthy of MJF’s time. Conspiracy theory alert! Maybe Mistico tanked on purpose to make MJF think it would be an easy win at Grand Slam Mexico. If Mistico had squashed Christian, then MJF would be hesitant to issue the challenge. The post-match exchange was amusing and created quick interest for their match. I chuckled at the Sloppy Cara line. I’m very curious how far MJF will go with his American heel gimmick on hostile territory. AEW milked the moment for an American hero package by MJF. > “The American Hero” @The_MJF meets Lucha Libre legend @caristicomx NEXT WEEK at AEW Grand Slam Mexico—LIVE from Arena Mexico! > > Watch #AEWSummerBlockbuster LIVE on TBS & MAX pic.twitter.com/p9hD91cntd > > — All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) June 12, 2025 **MJF, Bobby Lashley, & Shelton Benjamin defeated “Speedball” Mike Bailey, Kevin Knight, and Mascara Dorada.** Komander was attacked by the Hurt Syndicate earlier in the day, so the CMLL luchador stepped in as a replacement. Everyone had a chance to shine. Mascara Dorada hit a sweet shooting star press onto MJF outside. He loaded MJF into the ring for Bailey. MVP hit Speedball with his cane, and MJF stole the win on a hammerlock DDT. The Hurt Syndicate dished out more pain after the match. MJF snatched Mascara Dorada’s mask. Mistico returned for the save. MJF was tapping out to La Mistica armbar. > Incredible disrespect from @The_MJF removing the mask of @MascaraDoradMD! > > Watch #AEWSummerBlockbuster LIVE on TBS & MAX pic.twitter.com/HjcA6VTGEn > > — All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) June 12, 2025 Entertaining match with humor and action. That was a funny move for MJF to wear gear similar to MVP. The Bailey karate spots were nice as well. The finish is a curious choice. It seems like Bailey and Knight are being positioned to challenge the tag champs, but Bailey ate the pin here. Sure, MVP cheated to cause the loss for Bailey to save a little face, but that’s not good optics to believe these challengers have a real chance to win the belts. The Mistico revenge was a nice touch. **Tay Melo & Anna Jay defeated Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford.** The heels looked to be in control down the stretch after Bayne hit a Samoan drop fallaway slam combo to both opponents. Ford lifted Melo into a fireman’s carry. Meanwhile, Bayne let her guard down. Jay snatched Bayne’s neck for the Queen Slayer choke on the apron. Melo escaped to counter for the Gory Special knee strike to win. Bayne raged on Jay afterward. Nice teamwork from both squads. Melo had the feel-good pin for her comeback. Despite the loss, Bayne kept her badass aura intact. That was a creative way for Jay to grab the sleeper to prevent the save. This feud remixed with Melo gives the story more life. **Kyle Fletcher defeated Anthony Bowens.** As Bowens surged, Lance Archer beat up Billy Gunn on the outside as a distraction. Fletcher pounced for the brainbuster to win. That’s three losses in a row for Bowens against high-level competition. AEW made the effort to be sure Bowens looked good on offense and protected him with the outside trickery. He doesn’t feel like championship material right this moment anymore, but he is still someone I want to watch wrestle in his quest for glory. **FTR insulted a living legend.** FTR call themselves living legends, but they meat a real living legend in Atlantis, who was joined by son Atlantis Jr. Stokely Hathaway ran his mouth humorously. Dax Harwood did his routine of asking questions and cutting off the answers. The CMLL luchadores quickly grew tired of the insults and answered with fists. > Enough is enough! This time, she had a better spread of side dishes. Skye Blue attacked Storm before the match, so she was ejected. Storm rallied for a barrage of suplexes. Hart regained control, but she missed on a moonsault. Storm scored a small package for the win. Afterward, Mercedes smelled Toni’s hair to tease a kiss. The CEO whispered in Timeless’ ear, then she wailed punches on the world champ. Mina Shirakawa made the save. Mercedes faked her exit then attacked from behind. The CEO held the championship high and told Storm to kiss it goodbye. > What the hell is @MercedesVarnado trying to accomplish with "Timeless" Toni Storm and @MinaShirakawa here?! > > Watch #AEWSummerBlockbuster LIVE on TBS & MAX pic.twitter.com/Id0Ty5YvRe > > — All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) June 12, 2025 Now we’re getting somewhere building hatred for this feud. Fun match. Both team did their job connecting with the crowd for loud reactions. I hope it leads to more screen time for MxM, Johnny, and their friend Taya from modelling. Taya flashed some of that Wera Loca spirit on Ishii. If AEW ever embraces that type of action, then Taya will become a big star. Bandido defeated Beast Mortos. Lucha libre sizzle. The Toxic Spider rallied for a spear and the Death Trap submission to win. This was an unexpected surprise of entertainment. I figured Thekla wouldn’t have too much trouble in victory as the new star on board. That wasn’t the case at all. This was a style nightmare for Thekla. She had real trouble with Aminata’s reach and range. If not for the finish, this match would seem like Aminata was the showcase. Thekla used spider tricks to open the window to success. Her presentation is on point with the creepy vibe and mannerisms. Thekla demands eyes when on screen. **Konosuke Takeshita, Josh Alexander, Lance Archer, & Hechicero defeated Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, Roderick Strong, & Daniel Garcia.** Chaos broke out in the end. Archer choked O’Reilly in the corner, which grabbed the ref’s attention. Takeshita blasted a cheap shot elbow on O’Reilly for Alexander to execute a bridging German suplex to win. Similar sentiment as last week. Four hours is too long. I don’t care about this match. Seriously though, good effort from everyone involved. Butt slaps all around. **Notes:** Big Bill and Bryan Keith are cracking skulls and stacking wins. Rumor Roundup: Goldberg return, WWE Draft, American Gladiators, more!
WWE.com Today’s rumors... Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill. > Important reminder: Rumors are just that — rumors. None of this has been confirmed as fact, it’s just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. We track rumor accuracy in a weekly feature called Rumor Look Back you can find here. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt. ### Rumors for the Day: * Goldberg will return on Raw next week, per bodyslam.net’s Viper. Speculation is that he will confront Gunther to set up his long-rumored retirement program, possibly at July 12’s Saturday Night’s Main Event in Atlanta. * Also from Viper, this time reporting with Cory Hayes, WWE is now talking about holding the Draft after SummerSlam and tying it into their “season premiere” shows in September. * Eric Bugenhagen (known as Rick Boogs in WWE) and former TNA and current OVW wrestler Jessie Godderz are “currently slated for the upcoming revival of American Gladiators”, per Fightful Select. The Miz will host Amazon’s reboot. * Asked on a Fightful Select podcast this week about Thunder Rosa’s challenge to Britt Baker for All In Texas, Sean Ross Sapp said that Rosa hadn’t necessarily “gone rogue” but was “certainly cutting her own angle” and didn’t pitch the match or hair vs. hair stipulation to AEW before issuing the challenge to Baker on Busted Open Radio. * Sapp also posted that Kommander was written out of his scheduled match for AEW at last night’s Summer Blockbuster show because of a legitimate injury. No word on what it is, when it happened, or how long Komander will be out. _If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you’d like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. 5Beltz Moné books herself a CMLL title match before beating up Toni Storm
@AEW Mercedes Moné will try to take Zeuxis’ belt in Arena Mexico next Wednesday, because she’s tired of waiting to take the Timeless One’s AEW title at All In Texas. AEW unveils new belt for Okada/Omega, then one of them allies with Don Callis
@AEW An impressive-looking belt with a generic name is introduced for the winner of their All In Texas clash, and then their epic rivalry took a turn... At Summer Blockbuster, AEW’s June 11 supershow combining this week’s _Dynamite_ & _Collision_ episodes, the company went all in on promoting the “Winner Takes All” showdown between Continental champion Kazuchika Okada and International champ Kenny Omega at next month’s _All In Texas_ PPV. Before they signed the contract for that however, viewers were treated to a great video package recapping Omega and Okada’s epic rivalry in New Japan Pro-Wrestling. > View this post on Instagram > > A post shared by All Elite Wrestling (@aew) Then we went to the ring to make it all official. First, Tony Schiavone unveiled the belt Omega and Okada will wrestle for at Globe Life Park on July 12. MJF vows to unmask Sin Cara... we mean Mistico at AEW Grand Slam Mexico
@AEWonTV He warmed up by taking Kommander and Mascara Dorado’s at Summer Blockbuster, but the world famous luchador made him pay for that — and bringing up his WWE past. Last week at AEW Fyter Fest, The Hurt Syndicate’s newest member said he would scout Mistico’s match on this week’s Summer Blockbuster show. If Maxwell Jacob Friedman was impressed by the CMLL superstar, he’d face him when the company heads to the Cathedral of Lucha Libre — Arena Mexico — next Wednesday. MJF was impressed, and excited for the chance to play the American heel in Mexico City. After Mistico beat Blake Christian on the June 11 double episode of _Dynamite_ & _Collision_ , Max said he would unmask Mistico next week in his house, and brought back his version of a patriotic celebration to give us a preview of Grand Slam Mexico. > "I look forward to ripping that dime store mask off your stupid face!" - @The_MJF > > Watch #AEWSummerBlockbuster LIVE on TBS & MAX pic.twitter.com/9WdgXJnrV3 > > — All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) June 12, 2025 Mistico defiantly responded back, mostly in Spanish. Ospreay sacrifices himself to save Swerve after rematch ends in a draw
@AEW Will Ospreay & Swerve Strickland’s 30-minute show-opening bout delivered thrill, but no winner. Then Mox and The Young Bucks attacked, and may have inadvertently encouraged an All In Texas alliance. The big match AEW booked for their June 11 Summer Blockbuster double-feature was a rematch from last year’s _Forbidden Door_ show where Swerve Strickland defeated Will Ospreay. They didn’t make fans wait for it either, as the clash between two old friends who currently disagree on whether they should help Hangman Page beat Jon Moxley at _All In Texas_ opened the four-hour show. The Young Bucks joined their new allies to finish off the babyfaces, handcuffing Strickland to the ropes with his opponent incapacitated and lining him up for superkicks with spiked version of Swerve’s own custom Reeboks. Ospreay swooped in at the last second to take the “bullet” for a man he calls his older brother. Matt & Nick Jackson seemed to regret taking out Will, but left while Strickland and ringside doctor Michael Sampson checked on Ospreay, who appeared to be bleeding profusely from the head. > WAIT A MINUTE! @WillOspreay just took the shot for @SwerveConfident from the @YoungBucks! > > Watch #AEWSummerBlockbuster LIVE on TBS & MAX pic.twitter.com/XswhAl8X5e > > — All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) June 12, 2025 Will Bruv’s noble sacrifice inspire Swerve and Hangman to put their differences aside to stop Mox & The Bucks? NXT audience grows with AJ Francis & Elijah back on the show
@WWE Coincidence? Certainly could be. We’re just reporting the show’s numbers on The CW for its June 10 episode. The ratings and viewership data are in for the June 10 episode of WWE NXT on The CW. According to Programming Insider, this week’s episode was watched by 726,000 viewers and drew a 0.15 rating in the 18-49 year old demographic. That’s a 6% uptick in the overall audience, while the demo number is unchanged. WWE again had the night to itself in terms of nationally televised live options, with no NBA Finals or NHL Stanley Cup Final games on Tuesday for the second week in a row. Without them, NBC’s _America’s Got Talent_ won the night on broadcast and cable with a .36 ratjng from 4.54 million total viewers. NXT finished eighth out of nine shows on free TV, beating only FOX’s _The Snake_. If Edmonton can win either of the next two hockey games in Florida, NXT will face Game 6 of that series next Tuesday. NXT recap & reactions: Oba Femi barely survives
NXT Jacy Jayne gets bad news, Oba Femi gets taped ribs, and the former Mariah May gets a new name on this week’s NXT. ## State of Grace > OH. MY. GOD. #WWENXT pic.twitter.com/v397C7cxMQ > > — WWE (@WWE) June 11, 2025 Oba Femi is great for these King Kong vs. Godzilla battles. But the question I always have going into his matches, even against other monsters, is what puts this cat in jeopardy? Oba dominates everyone, even when it’s a competitive match. Well, this is one way: > @jaspertroywwe has attacked @Obaofwwe in the parking lot! #WWENXT pic.twitter.com/WdjAm7qT6X > > — WWE (@WWE) June 11, 2025 That parking lot remains the most dangerous place in America. That started a running story throughout the show about Oba’s health. He remained in the trainer’s room for most of the two hours. When he emerged for the match, his missed his usual bounce while sporting tape around his ribs. So let’s review: We’ve got a usually dominant champion clearly less than 100 percent wrestling a man who not only caused that percent shrinkage, but also sports a huge chain around his neck. Yeah, that sounds like a bad day for The Ruler. And it really almost was. Geno and I wondered if this was the night for a title change. It would put over _LFG_ , make good on Undertaker’s foreboding warning to Oba about protecting his yard, and give WWE three nights of consecutive programming with shocks. I thought for sure it would happen, especially once Jasper Troy started _cooking_. He manhandled Oba in ways not seen in an NXT ring. > .@jaspertroywwe is UNREAL! ‍ #WWENXT pic.twitter.com/UYwZPCzbQ3 > > — WWE (@WWE) June 11, 2025 And this: > What are we seeing right now?!?@jaspertroywwe is DOMINATING @Obaofwwe! #WWENXT pic.twitter.com/bNRUwrCTfW > > — WWE (@WWE) June 11, 2025 He took everything this depleted version of Oba had and kept coming. Jasper whipped the man into the turnbuckle so hard that it broke. That’s when I figured a title change was happening. But then Oba survived Jasper’s finisher. They protected Jasper and the finisher in that spot as he couldn’t cover Oba in time due to him catching his breath. Then it hit me that this was still Oba’s story but a showcase for the big man who reminds me of a Predator. Hell of a showcase. Jasper was quick, powerful, looked impressive giving a beating and just as impressive taking one. Weakened or not, Oba got a real challenge and came _this_ close to losing his championship. Where do Jasper and Oba go from here? I have no clue because there was no post match set up. But this is another one of those moments that proves a god king can bleed. Jasper didn’t get the job done but the stage is set for someone else’s fatality. * * * ## B-Sides ### Paranoid > .@lainey_wwe is not backing down from the champ! #WWENXT pic.twitter.com/FAUCMtutqz > > — WWE (@WWE) June 11, 2025 Jacy Jayne’s reign will be about her proving she deserves one. At least that’s my early inkling. And early inklings aren’t always right but Jacy’s always rocked with a chip on her shoulder, meaning I’m probably right. But she’s also paranoid as hell, which makes it a bit more interesting for me. Her first battle as champion came against Lainey Reed, the first woman who challenged her the last time NXT was on CW. There were moments during the match where her frustration boiled over. _She_ picked her first opponent not just because Lainey slapped fire out of her backstage in front of Ava, but because she assumed she’d walk all over the southern cowgirl. The longer the match went and the more the cakewalk turned into a mud run, she resorted to simply slapping her challenger. Jacy was pissed that her opponent was so defiant. It didn’t help that she’s got Fallon Henley breathing down her neck. This is an explosion waiting to happen as they’re obviously frenemies right now. Fallon was ringside with Jazmyn Nye, but she wasn't always clearly on the NXT Women’s champion’s side. Despite all that, Jacy got the win but Lainey made it tough. > BIG NEWS @avawwe_ just announced a series of matches that will determine who challenges @jacyjaynewwe for the NXT Women's Championship at Evolution! #WWENXT pic.twitter.com/ujLHoRR7ks > > — WWE (@WWE) June 11, 2025 And from there, Ava made an announcement that shook Jacy to her core: Her next opponent will emerge from a two-round tournament featuring eight women. And Jacy will face the number one contender at _Evolution 2_. Jacy believed she could keep picking her opponents as she did this week. Ava said “nah” and now there’s no telling who she’ll face. How will Fatal Influence flex their name sake in this scenario? Therein lies the rub. * * * ## Album Cuts * Sean Legacy keeps impressing me. The Evolve wrestler got his North American title shot against Ethan Page this week. He obviously wasn’t winning so it was about how he handled himself against a vet so seasoned he probably sweats salt and pepper. I will not apologize for that joke. Sean comported himself very well, and sold like a champ for Ethan’s offense. He plays a babyface very well and _earned_ every bit of the crowd’s sympathy. Ethan still won, because duh, but Sean made him work for it and made the crowd believe, if only for a moment, that he had a shot. He took some hellacious bumps too, so props to him for that. * The reports of Ricky Saints’ graduation to the main roster were greatly exaggerated. The former North American champ showed up after Ethan defeated Sean with vengeance on his mind. He rushed Ethan but let up just long enough for Ava to tell him he’s in no shape for any of this. She’s right, he had a bandage on his throat. Once Ricky is “healed” it’s clear that a rematch with Ethan is in the cards. * Lash Legend’s new theme is an off-brand version of Project Pat’s “Chickenhead.” I didn’t see that coming at all but I also don’t hate it. * Why am I bringing up Lash’s theme? Because she wrestled Wren Sinclair this week with Kelani Jordan sitting ringside. This continued last week’s story of the women's division’s soft reboot. Lash interrupted Kelani then, so Kelani’s got eyes on her now. Wren is getting better in the ring, but this was clearly a Lash showcase. Kelani vs. Lash certainly raises my eyebrows, so let’s do that. * Blake Monroe. That’s Mariah May’s new name. Meh. I don’t like it. Monroe I like because of Marilyn Monroe, which is “Blake’s” vibe. But Blake? Mariah Monroe has a better ring to it, but that ship has apparently sailed. * High Ryze defeated Tony D’Angelo & Luca Crusifino. That’s a big deal but not bigger than why. Stacks showed up with a crowbar in the third act, ran out of the ring like a scolded dog, and Luca grabbed the crowbar. He didn’t hit Tony but it looked mad suspicious. That distraction was enough for Wes’ boys to get a big W. Now, prior to all this, Luca was on the phone with someone and wouldn’t tell Tony whom. Weird. Then he told Tony that he’d show him during this match why he can be trusted. Which makes him picking up a crowbar in such an ominous way even more weird. The one character beat that really struck me in this match is that Tony let Luca take a beating for most of the runtime. He refused tags and just watched his guy get punished. Eventually Tony tagged in, but it was a nice way to illustrate the lack of trust. * After losing to The Culling, Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura found themselves face-to-face with AJ Francis (still can't believe he’s back in NXT) and KC Navarro. First Class immediately challenged Josh & Yoshi, only for Elijah (so glad he’s back in NXT) to come through and have their backs. So next week, it’s First Class & Trick Williams vs. Josh Briggs, Yoshiki Inamura, & Elijah. The TNA stuff still misses me if only because I’m not an avid watcher. But like I said, I’m happy about Elijah. * Sooo, No Quarter Catch Crew is dissolving right? Now Tavion Heights wants a chance to spread his wings and leave the nest. Charlie Dempsey wasn’t feeling that idea, much to Tavion’s and Je’Von Evans’ dismay. I gotta agree with Charlie here: Why is Je’Von poking his nose in this? I get the feeling the territory doesn’t know what to do with Je’Von right now. * * * The main event and the opening match were the highlights for me this week. I didn't dislike the show but it didn’t grab me either. It was a 40 degree day show on the cusp of summer. Imagine that. What say you, Cagesiders? Who gets Oba next?

The NXT women’s championship will be defended at Evolution 2
Here’s how they’ll find the challenger for Jacy Jayne. Now that WWE has finally confirmed _Evolution 2_ for July 13, 2025, in Atlanta, it’s time to start building out the card. Nikki Bella looks poised to lock horns with Liv Morgan in some form of fashion but outside of that, we’ve gotten very little news regarding what the card will look like. Until now. Indeed, during this week’s episode of NXT television, General Manager Ava announced that Jacy Jayne will defend her NXT women’s championship on the show. Her opponent will be determined by a mini tournament. Four singles matches will be held next week, and the winners of those singles matches will advance to a Fatal 4-Way, where they will square off to determine who moves on to _Evolution 2_. > BIG NEWS @avawwe_ just announced a series of matches that will determine who challenges @jacyjaynewwe for the NXT Women's Championship at Evolution! #WWENXT pic.twitter.com/ujLHoRR7ks > > — WWE (@WWE) June 11, 2025 Later in the show, the four singles matches were announced: * Lash Legand vs. Kelani Jordan * Zaria vs. Izzi Dame * Thea Hail vs. Jaida Parker * Lola Vice vs. Jordynne Grace Even with Roxanne Perez, Stephanie Vaquer, and Giulia all being called up to the main roster, the NXT women’s division is loaded with talent. And this doesn’t even include Blake Monroe, who will sign her NXT contract on this same show. Like it? Get complete NXT results and coverage of this week’s entire episode by clicking here.

Pan over to Chase U. Andre Chase tells his new charges that if they’re gonna do this, it’s gotta be his way, the right way. Show up on time, follow the rules and follow the direction. They agree that that isn’t too much to ask and they’re in one hundred percent. Chase tells them it’s time to go back to class. Lainey putting a comeback together, side Russian legsweep, stomp the hand, corkscrew brainbuster... SO CLOSE! Block a kick, Jayne gets a tijeras, charges in, Reid blasts her with a knee... STILL NO! O’Connor roll for two, Lainey up top but Falln Henley runs interference and Jacy lines her up... **Jacy Jayne wins by pinfall with a rolling elbow, retaining the NXT Women’s Championship.** Ava Raine appears on the balcony to tell Jacy Jayne that she’s going to decide her next opponent with a two-round, eight-woman tournament to crown a new #1 contender to challenge her at Evolution. Backstage, Josh Briggs is upset about losing to the Culling when AJ Francis and KC Navarro roll up to introduce themselves as First Class and stake a claim for the tag titles. Yoshiki Inamura calls them annoying, AJ Francis acts like he ran the NXT locker room the last time he was here and Elijah appears with a strum and KC backs AJ off and they leave. Luca Crusifino is telling somebody he’s gonna take care of something on the phone when Tony D’Angelo rolls up to be suspicious of him and they walk off together to send us to break. * * * Back from commercial, No Quarter Catch Crew are together and Charlie Dempsey shakes Myles Borne’s hand and says he’s a man of his word, he’s free. Je’Von Evans rolls up and shakes Myles’ hand too and Tavion Heights says he wants a shot too but Charlie says he’s not ready yet. Je’Von has Tavion’s back but Dempsey says this isn’t any of his business and what’s left of NQCC is always and forever and he leaves before anybody can object. Gunther says ‘the air got sucked out of the room’ after beating Jey Uso for World Title
WWE.com Gunther spoke some harsh truths on Raw Recap after winning his second world championship. As Gunther tightened his grip around the neck of World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso, fans inside Phoenix’s PHX Arena held their breath. As Uso’s arm went limp and his eyes shut, a collective gasp echoed through the building. When the referee slapped at his lifeless hand, Uso didn’t stir. With no response from the champ, the official called for the bell. Shrieks of horror quickly gave way to stunned silence as Gunther had once again become the World Heavyweight Champion. > GUNTHER DOES IT! > > Jey Uso has been dethroned by the Ring General. pic.twitter.com/LZRYohaIcp > > — WWE (@WWE) June 10, 2025 “In that moment, when I felt him going numb — and that reaction — it takes a few seconds for the crowd to realize it,” Gunther told Sam Roberts and Megan Morant on _Raw Recap_. “That reaction after… that’s what I’m doing it for. The air just got sucked out of the room.” Monday’s title change on _Raw_ was as shocking as it was deflating. Many fans expected Seth Rollins, who won the Money in the Bank contract last Saturday, to cash in his guaranteed title shot during or after the match. Some predicted a surprise return from Roman Reigns to stop said cash-in. Others speculated Goldberg, who has a history with Gunther, might return to set up his long-rumored retirement match. Instead, Gunther defeated Uso cleanly in a high-stakes rematch of their _WrestleMania 41_ clash, where Uso tapped out the “Ring General” with a sleeper hold. This time, both men repeatedly attempted to finish the other with the same move, yet, it was Gunther who prevailed — bringing Uso’s reign to a sudden end after just 51 days. “I gotta give it to him,” said Gunther of the former champion. “I think he stepped up. I think he fulfilled a lot of the hopes and expectations that people had in him. But everybody, the audience and everybody backstage should have been realistic enough that it was fun while it lasted. But over time, reality has to set in.” _Raw Recap_ host Megan Morant, wearing a Jey Uso “YEET” T-shirt, didn’t hide her disappointment. She said it felt like her hopes had been dashed — a comment that drew a sharp response from the newly crowned two-time champion. “It’s not Disneyland, Megan,” Gunther replied. “Out there, it’s man against man, and the better man wins. And in 99.9% of the matches I’m in, I’m the better man.” The sting felt by fans and Morant after Uso’s loss seemed to carry backstage. According to Gunther, post-match moments like this usually bring celebration, with fellow superstars offering hugs and congratulations. But not this time. “When I walked backstage today, there was no one,” Gunther revealed. “Everybody left. I guess all the other guys saw it on the screen, saw the finish, and left to the hotels or traveled home or something like that. And I like that. I enjoy that position. I don’t need friends. I’m not here to make friends.” As Gunther’s victory sinks in, so does the uncertainty ahead. WWE now has two heel world champions: Gunther and John Cena. Seth Rollins, fresh off winning the Money in the Bank contract, has declared his pursuit of absolute power. Meanwhile, the King of the Ring tournament, which will determine a future world title challenger, has just begun. Amid the chaos, Gunther remains unfazed. Focused and unbothered, he made it clear he is ready for whatever lies ahead. “Whoever’s next, whoever wants to be next, whoever qualifies, it’s fine with me,” said Gunther. “I’m more than prepared, and I highly doubt that anyone feels comfortable walking into this ring when he’s about to face me.”

Raw slips in Netflix Rankings
WWE.com As has been the case of late however, views didn’t change much for the June 2 episode. We also have some glimpse into how Money in the Bank fared internationally for the streamer. What little data we get about the performance of WWE _Raw_ on Netflix is here. It comes from the streamer itself via their Tudum website. Tudum ranks Netflix’s Top 10 shows by weekly number of views, which it calculates by dividing the time all subscribers spent watching a program by its duration. The default is a global ranking, which is also the only one where Netflix shows its work (e.g. the numbers behind the ranking). You can view the Top 10 for each country Netflix is in, but that only gives you a ranking, no numbers. Similar ranked lists are available for shows in English, one for shows in all other languages, and corresponding Top 10s for movies. _Raw_ ’s 22nd episode on Netflix streamed live from Tulsa, Oklahoma on June 2, and featured Stephanie Vaquer & El Grande Americano qualifying for Money in the Bank on the go home for that premium live event, and the latest villainy from Seth Rollins’ new group. It ranked eighth globally among English-language shows in the seven-day span that ended on June 8. That’s down two spots from where May 26’s episode finished. That despite last Monday’s show having 2.7 million views, up 100K from the previous week. For comparison sake, Netflix’s top show from June 2-8 was the third season of _Ginny & Georgia_ with 17.6 million views. For live viewers, _Raw_ got a Monday without the NBA and NHL Playoffs on June 2. Per Programming Insider, that meant Fox News’ Jesse Waters Primetime won the night in total viewers with 3.04 million, while American Ninja Warrior was tops among 18-49 year olds with a .30 rating on NBC. Last Monday’s main live sports option was the College Softball World Series, where Texas Tech punched its ticket to the finals and scored a .28 in the demo to win the night on cable; the game was watched by 1.6 million people on ESPN. Last week’s _Raw_ was fourth in the U.S., unchanged from the previous episode in WWE’s biggest market. With the usual caveat that we don’t check every Netflix market, here’s a rundown of how the June 2 episode (plus the June 6 _SmackDown,_ and Saturday’s _Money in the Bank_ PLE — where applicable) ranked in countries where _Raw_ ’s placed in the past. **Australia** : _Raw_ did not place in the top ten (unchanged from the previous week) **Bolivia** : Fifth (down one spot); _Money in the Bank_ third; _SmackDown_ eighth (unchanged) **Canada** : Seventh (down two); _Money in the Bank_ sixth; _SmackDown_ DNP (down at least three) **India** : DNP (down at least two) **Mexico** :__ Ninth (down two); _Money in the Bank_ fourth **Saudi Arabia** : DNP (unchanged); _Money in the Bank_ seventh **United Kingdom** : DNP (down at least two); _Money in the Bank_ seventh If _Raw_ slips out of the global Top 10, it seems like we’ll stop getting any “views” data. We’ll continue to pass along whatever information we do get, and add it to our regular rundown of _Raw_ ’s TUDUM-reported performance for each episode of the Netflix Era: * **Jan. 6, 2025** - 5.9 million views; ranked 4th globally, 5th in the U.S. * **Jan. 13** - 3.7 million views; ranked 4th globally, 4th in the U.S. * **Jan. 20** - 3.0 million views; ranked 7th globally, 4th in the U.S. * **Jan. 27** - 2.9 million views; ranked 9th globally, 5th in the U.S. * **Feb. 3** - 3.1 million views; ranked 7th globally, 3rd in the U.S. * **Feb. 10** - 2.8 million views; ranked 8th globally, 5th in the U.S. * **Feb. 17** - 2.8 million views; ranked 10th globally, 5th in the U.S. * **Feb. 24****** - 2.6 million views; ranked 8th globally, 6th in the U.S. * **March 3** - 3.1 million views; ranked 7th globally, 4th in the U.S. * **March 10** - 3 million views; ranked 6th globally, 3rd in the U.S. * **March 17** - 3.1 million views; ranked 4th globally, 4th in the U.S. * **March 24****** - 3 million views; ranked 4th globally, 3rd in the U.S. * **March 31** - 2.9 million views; ranked 8th globally, 6th in the U.S. * **April 7** - 2.8 million views; ranked 10th globally, 6th in the U.S. * **April 14****** - 2.9 million views; ranked 9th globally, 3rd in the U.S. * **April 21** - 3.6 million views; ranked 5th globally, 3rd in the U.S. * **April 28** - 3 million views; ranked 4th globally, 3rd in the U.S. * **May 5** - 2.8 million views; ranked 4th globally, 3rd in the U.S. * **May 12** - 2.7 million views; ranked 8th globally, 7th in the U.S. * **May 19** - 2.7 million views; ranked 9th globally, 5th in the U.S. * **May 26** - 2.6 million views; ranked 6th globally, 4th in the U.S. * **June 2** - 2.7 million views; ranked 8th globally, 4th in the U.S.

Ron ‘R-Truth’ Killings thanks those responsible for bringing him back to WWE
Photo by Rich Freeda/WWE via Getty Images Before the beloved veteran thanked Triple H, Nick Khan, and most importantly ‘YOU’, he also talked to Metro Boomin about some new entrance music... In an impassioned promo on _Raw_ last night (June 9), Ron Killings dropped the name R-Truth and introducing his “no gimmicks” persona to the WWE faithful. In the same promo, Killings confirmed that he’s back in the company because of those fans, and others who made the “We Want Truth” message loud and clear after he revealed that WWE wasn’t planning on offering his a new contract a couple Sundays ago. Today on social media, ~~Truth~~ Killings (sorry, that’s gonna take me a while) reiterated that it was the public response that got him his new contract. But he also thanked someone who’s taken a lot of the blame for the beloved veteran’s near-exit, Chief Creative Office Paul “Triple H” Levesque, and the person credited with successfully negotiating his return, company president Nick Khan. > How? = YOU… Yall brought me back!!They heard, listened, felt, and understood. Thank you @TripleH @WWE and man… thank you Nick Khan for allowing R-Truth to set me free!!! Im driving now…I AM Ron KILLINGS I AM THE TRUTH THE WHOLE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH, Now put some… > > — Ron Killings (@RonKillings) June 10, 2025 > How? = YOU… Yall brought me back!!They heard, listened, felt, and understood. Im driving now…I AM Ron KILLINGS I AM THE TRUTH THE WHOLE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH, Now put some RESPECT on my name! Killings was also the latest recipient of an offer of new entrance music from mega-producer Metro Boomin. Raw recap & reactions: CM Punk goes to Saudi Arabia
Photo by Rich Freeda/WWE via Getty Images CM Punk challenges John Cena, Bayley returns, and Jey Uso finds out if he has enough in the tank on this episode of Monday Night Raw. ## I’d Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That > CENA vs. PUNK > ONE FINAL TIME > Night of Champions? #WWERaw pic.twitter.com/jffIUtms48 > > — WWE (@WWE) June 10, 2025 I know the talk in wrestling circles will be about CM Punk wrestling in Saudi Arabia. So rather than ignore that Mastodon in the room, let’s acknowledge it now. There’s an irony to Punk cutting a promo against being the corporate guy only to do the thing a corporate guy would do. That smart ass insight aside, I’m not sure if I feel anything about him doing something that he was previously vehemently against. Mostly because, despite how much social media gives me a window into Phillip Brooks’ life, I really don’t know the guy. I don’t know what possessed him to change his mind or what his life is like outside the ring. That’s not an excuse either. I don’t like that WWE does Saudi events. I was against it from the start and I stand on that today. I’m still having an internal battle with myself over plenty of things this company does and says. I’ve yet to make peace with supporting them, tacitly or otherwise, while they do what they do. I can’t be mad at Punk when I’m still sorting through my feelings and conflicts. With that out of the way, from a story standpoint, John Cena giving Punk the title shot he wants but making him go to Saudi to get it was pretty ingenious storytelling. I wish Punk mauled it over a bit more to really sell why that was such a big deal for him. Not everyone viewing will understand why the champ’s request carried that much weight. A bit more patience and deliberation would’ve illustrated that. > GRAB THE POPCORN > HERE WE GO! #WWERaw pic.twitter.com/QR0EB4ZCor > > — WWE (@WWE) June 10, 2025 That said, I loved Punk’s promo. Specifically the part about him not wanting the championship out of fear of what he’d become. He looked at Seth Rollins and Johnny, and realized he wants no parts of _that_. They see it as a chip; something that adds to their value rather than something that represents the people. Ordinarily something like that would come across as corny to me. But Punk knows how to sell it and it’s perfectly in line with everything I know about his character. He believes in fighting for the people at all costs, even if it means becoming something he hates. For Punk, the ends always justify the means. There’s always juice in Punk vs. John Cena. The backdrop may sour me a bit so I’m hoping the storytelling going into _Night of Champions_ makes it worth it. So far so good. * * * ## B-Sides ### Much Too Much > GUNTHER DOES IT! > > Jey Uso has been dethroned by the Ring General. pic.twitter.com/LZRYohaIcp > > — WWE (@WWE) June 10, 2025 How much is too much? That was the main question going into Jey Uso’s title defense against GUNTHER. Jey stretched himself pretty thinly since winning the World Heavyweight championship. He not only defended the title but fought for his friends’ honor as well. And after taking a beating at _Money in the Bank_ , did he have enough in the tank for this _WrestleMania_ rematch? Almost. But almost is never good enough in this game. Jey revealed the taped up ribs early in the match, and the Ring General went to work. Jey fought back but the story contours remained the same: GUNTHER was at his best while Jey was nowhere near his. Jey withstood GUNTHER’s sleeper hold as much as possible, but he eventually passed out. He didn’t tap and they did their best to protect him, but he’s no longer champ. To paraphrase Geno, I’m shocked but not shocked. I expected a much longer run with Jey because, I mean, he’s incredibly over and this thing just started. But I know Triple H loves GUNTHER. I mean, he loves him the way Shawn Michaels loves Carmelo Hayes. So putting the title back around his waist isn’t the most surprising thing in the world. But...I hope this isn’t the end of Jey’s story as the man on _Raw_. Unless of course this is setting up Seth cashing in on GUNTHER, to which I say “cool.” Funny, here I was thinking I was at a loss for words after this result. * * * ### Killing In the Name > R-Truth just shocked EVERYONE with what he did! > Say hello to RON KILLINGS!#WWERaw pic.twitter.com/r6XnhSh6ao > > — WWE (@WWE) June 10, 2025 This was dope. That’s all I have to say about it. I can’t wait to see where this goes next. * * * ## Album Cuts * First off, I didn’t put enough respect on Chad Gable’s name the last time I wrote about pro grappling. Chad’s performance at _Worlds Collide_ and _Money in the Bank_ was one for every record book in existence. That he followed all of that with a very dope match against AJ Styles this week shows how incredible he is at this wrestling thing. AJ got the victory, as he should’ve considering how beat up Chad was for the story, but whew, Chad put on a show when he could’ve coasted. * Bayley is back! And she wants Becky Lynch. Becky cut a very solid heel promo that ended with her calling out Lyra Valkyria for an apology and some respect. Lyra came out but Bayley attacked Becky from behind before Lyra got to the ring. They don’t even need to put the championship on the line, although I’d love if the plan all along was to put that belt on Becky so that Bayley could take it from her. Also, Becky screaming that Lyra tried to kill her made me cackle like a movie villain. * The Judgment Day tale continues. Roxanne Perez and Liv Morgan wrestled in the Fatal 4 Way Queen of the Ring qualifier. Before the bout, Roxanne pitched Liv on having each other’s backs that way no matter which one of them wins, Judgment Day comes out on top. Liv balked at the very idea but as the match progressed, her actions spoke louder. Roxy & Liv made a really good team and I liked their union getting its own mini-arc during the match. Saving each other from pins isn’t unusual since an L for one meant an L for all. However, they actually strategized against Rhea Ripley and Kairi Sane. And it almost worked until it didn’t. Kairi Sane hit an Insane Elbow on Liv while the Prodigy sat outside the ring observing. Then she pounced at the right moment, broke up the count, and rolled Kairi into a three-count. Roxanne wasn’t lying because yes, she did save Liv from getting pinned. I’m a glutton for Judgment Day drama, so this was perfect for me. And we got a satisfying match with it as well. * One more item from this match? Raquel Rodriguez stopped Rhea from getting a win. I expect Mami to have many words for Raquel and her former stable. * Now we get to the men’s side of the ledger. Bron Breakker had marching orders going into his King of the Ring qualifier with Penta, Sami Zayn, and Dirty Dom: Win and move forward to get Seth’s crew another championship. See, just one heavyweight championship isn’t enough. “Absolute power” means taking the both of the top men’s prizes. I like the idea and I want to see it come to fruition. That won’t happen any time soon, however, because as Bron dominated the match, LA Knight snuck out of the crowd and hit him with a BFT. That put young Bron out of the match, and opened the door for Sami to get the win. This is a big deal for Sami, while setting up a beef between LA and Seth’s crew. Dope match and the best possible outcome. * Asuka is back too! Not this week, but she’s in the next Fatal 4 Way qualifier for Queen of the Ring. * Nikki Bella returned this week in her hometown and guess who got in her face? Liv! Of course she did because her ego is hurt at the moment and she needs to feel good about herself. This is setting up a match between the two at _Evolution 2_ I assume. I’m with it. * * * _Raw_ is excellent. Loved the show from top to bottom, including that shocking ending. Well, it at least semi-shocked me. Tournaments are always interesting and they managed to build storytelling into them for some of the wrestlers not moving forward. Judgment Day continues to teeter, Bayley returned, and CM Punk is doing what some thought he’d never do if it means defeating John Cena. Clever storytelling, dope matches, and a show with hardly any lulls. What say you, Cagesiders?

GUNTHER wins the world heavyweight championship back from Jey Uso
@WWE WWE ended Raw this week with a big title change. The main event of this week’s episode of _Monday Night Raw_ in Phoenix, Arizona featured GUNTHER finally getting his rematch against Jey Uso for the world heavyweight championship. This just a couple nights after the champ wrestled in the main event of _Money in the Bank_. They were pushing hard that Uso may have stretched himself a bit too thin in recent weeks. Meanwhile, there were rumors of an “interesting” finish being planned for the match, though there was obviously no telling what that would mean. They went into deep waters for this one, including the challenger even breaking out a spot from the champ: > gunther had a STRATEGY pic.twitter.com/lVaNQCGOAv > > — WWE (@WWE) June 10, 2025 He got the sleeper hold on not long after and it looked over for Jey. But somehow he managed to not only get himself out, he locked GUNTHER in the sleeper. This time, though, unlike at _WrestleMania_ , GUNTHER fought his way out and got his own sleeper once more. It looked so over the fans started chanting “YEET” to try to get Uso back. It didn’t work. Jey went out and the referee called it. GUNTHER is once again the world heavyweight champion. > GUNTHER DOES IT! > > Jey Uso has been dethroned by the Ring General. pic.twitter.com/LZRYohaIcp > > — WWE (@WWE) June 10, 2025 Get complete _Raw_ results and coverage of this week’s entire episode by clicking here.
