Did you get to see them? We could see them with the naked eye but these pics are taken with a 10 sec exposure, so it picked up more vibrant colors.

How I wish I were there! Of course you’re seeing the coolest rocks ever! If it’s legal, I’d be taking bags of samples home. Maybe you could make a thin section to help with interpretation? Mind blown and I have no idea how that could form. Would love to hear your conversations about it.

That’s seriously special rock! Curious about the thin bedding layers-to alternate between clay and limestone repetitively-does that have to do with repetitive sea level transgressions and regressions?
