Hope he finds it in time Carol. If not he might be facing a smaller portion of turkey for his Christmas dinner tomorrow! We women always have our own way of getting our own back 🤣

Christingles are a relatively new (imported) tradition. They were unheard of in Britain when I was a child. Traditions have always come and gone.

Morning! Doesn’t that face say defiantly “Moi? Pas moi!” Hubby once had to wash a foot in the wee small hours having trod in a similar feline “offering” (including remains of a mouse) while on a barefoot journey to the loo. Even now 30 years later he always puts slippers on as he gets out of bed. 😊

I hope that they’ve settled and grown to like living in Britain enough to now feel that being here is ‘home’.

Good morning! I’m with you on being addressed inappropriately. I get p****d off when people with whom I have only a passing connection call me darling or love. Only my nearest and dearest are allowed to do that, and then I always suspect they’re wanting a favour 🤣 Have a good day Carol 😊
