I am friends with one of the Beatrice 6. Tom was in prison for 19 years for a crime he didn’t commit. Gage County ended up having to pay over $28,000,000 to the 6 exonerated people. My husband & I met Tom through prison ministry. Tom lived with us for several months until we found him an apartment.

We are in the process of filing our ACA forms for insurance. Our current monthly premium is $2,850. We qualified for subsidies so we pay $551/month. For 2026 our monthly premium is $3,711 and we don’t qualify for any subsidy. We are still 2+ years from Medicare😡.

I live in Nebraska. It’s going to decimate this small town and many towns around it. Yet, you drive in the central and western parts of the state and you see Trump signs everywhere! I would guess 50-75% of that town vote Trump! I guess the FAFO!!
