It was a beautiful morning to ride up to the medicine wheel in Nosehill park & reflect on what Indigenous peoples have dealt w/ & what they’ve lost. I took a moment to offer mums, read a poem by Poet Laureate Louise B Halfe & a short prayer. Then it was time to head home. #TruthandReconcilliation

I just realized that I didn’t mention what day.

I will be heading up there on Tuesday morning Sept. 30 at 7:15am. I know that it isn’t a stat holiday & most won’t be able to go. However, if you do have the inclination & the time to join me I look forward to seeing you there. 😃👍🏻 #yycbike
