youtube has a lot of great animation resources (alex grigg, toniko pantoja, moderndayjames) that are really good for learning ur fundamentals ..

clip studio is perfect for this and p powerful .. although i think the animation stuff on cs has a bit of a learning curve compared to some other software (i.e. rough animator). but you can utilize all the same drawing features that are already a part of ur workflow but for animation :)

i stopped after lesson 2 mainly because i wasn't having fun/didn't see a lot of progress, i enjoy drawing fast and loose, and that kinda goes against the philosophy of drawabox

lately gesture/perspective exercises (almost) daily have been great for my progress

the crux of drawabox is the funny box challenge. i did this diligently for months and felt little progress. my theory is that intently drawing tons of boxes using the ghosting method wasn't helping me develop spatial awareness. somewhere around box 50 there was a plateau
